I like ULL. It'd be cool to have them be Univeristy of Louisiana.

However, I happen to know some ULM fans who don't like it one bit! They feel like ULL is in violation of the deal struck in the legislature.

How would it be if there are two schools calling themselves Louisiana? Suppose UAB started calling themselves Alabama? Or UT Martin?

Saying "It's just a name" is one of the most obtuse things you could say.

Switched from Hudspeth's preferred 3-3-5 to Lucas' preferred 4-2-5.

The deal that was struck was NLU changing their name along with the Cajuns, for exchange the Cajuns would guarantee entrance into the Sun Belt saving their football program. ULM tried to brand themselves as Louisiana and failed miserably.

Great job by ULaLa. That was an amazing push, especially after it appeared he'd be stopped for a turnover on downs but then turned it into a TD.

HUD will never learn. This happens every year no matter who the d coordinator has been.

This should be the base defense. We have 0 linebacker depth and a ton of d line depth.

If the cajuns win, does Sumlin even show up for work on Monday?
I couldn't imagine him firing himself. Especially, with that big buyout they would owe him.

IMO the 4-2-5 is the best collegiate defense if you can't recruit Orcs like LSU, Clemson or Bama. It provides the most flexibility and can be conservative or ultra aggressive.
