Of course their fellow proggie lap dog quickly fell in line, but the rest of the country is like “nah, we’re good.”

Oops. Lol.

Should probably wait until someone plays a game before declaring victory.

I'm hoping for football because i love the sport.

It’s too early to gloat, but the thought of these lunatic admins feeling the heat from livid Big 10 fans who have to watch the SEC every weekend while their teams play tiddlywinks warms my heart.

The backlash the universities get this week will be interesting. Also if games are played the anger leave has to go up in alums.

Then you have the blue check mark brigade that will cry once the big 12/sec/acc play.

Agreed. The media is more powerful than they have ever been. This battle is not over.

If SEC, ACC, and Big 12 play a season with no real issues, the B1G and Pac 12 will look horrible. If even one game is canceled it'll be "SEE!"

Yeah except that Cali went all fall shutdown/schools remote at all levels with Gavin Newsom and the Pac12 was sort of forced to shutdown without Cali participating.

Big10 then followed the Pac12. Not the other way around.

Once again, you can really blame California for not all Conferences competing. Big10 can blame California; they followed the Pac12 and the Pac12 followed California.

Every Republican governor of an SEC state should immediately clean out every university administration that votes for a football shutdown. Fire them en masse.

Yeah, they believed all the reports of the ESPN/Sports journalism "insider" reports about Big 5 "administrators" saying if the Big 10 went they all would.

Sometimes you have to be smart enough to discern between reporters and reports that want something to happen and angle their stories to try to make that happen and actual real facts and news. Big 10 was not.
