Zachary is Baker North and will be fully assimilated in the next 10 years

I'd love to see an honest breakdown on the funding sources for these facilities. I'd bet that a good portion of the funds come from private sources. Zachary supports their schools and sports. Central in a few steps behind but I'd expect them to be in a similar situation in several years.
BR schools.....shite.

and just think it would not even be a average facility in Texas
To be fair the largest enrollment at a school in LA is less than 2000 (pretty sure it’s still Dutchtown).
TX has numerous schools at least 10 over 4000.

Don’t ever be fooled. Parish school boards in parishes with commercial property are well funded. EBR is extremely well funded when you consider the fact that they don’t have to educate the kids in Catholic and private schools. Yet they mismanage the money every year. St Tammany, Livingston , and Ascension are great examples of the type of modern infrastructure and services EBR should have. It amazes me how schools like Catholic and SJA are constantly adding new infrastructure , programs , services all while providing a high level education with funding from only tuition and donations.

Dang those numbers are significantly higher than the last time I looked.
Point still stands. Texas’ largest schools are twice the size of Louisiana’s.

Recognized as a "National School of Excellence" five times by the U.S. Department of Education, the school celebrates 127 years of operation with a current population of 1,149 students in grades 8-12. The enrollment for the senior class of 2022 is 265.

Meanwhile catholic plays at memorial that is maintained by brec and catholic offered to upgrade it and brec said no
Catholic on campus facilities are pretty nice.

Have you been to Texas?
Posted on 11/29/22 at 2:48 pm to tigerfan5959
Wont look like that for long.

One of the senior's dad is one of the top bosses at brec. The whole thing was lined up and the Jumonville guy was providing funding but we can't have anything nice in that part of town.

quote:They're standard a lot of places now. My high school in Memphis has a stone-work grandstand (not bleachers), a nice pressbox, a jumbo-tron, a full-size indoor practice facility, a comparable weight room, etc. Most of the teams in our league have comparable facilities
Those are pretty standard for most 5-7a schools in Georgia

The reason I even asked is because I know some of the top people at BREC… I’ve never heard no one mention this ever… you sure it just wasn’t a idea some people had

It’s senseless considering the school is better both academically and athletically once it became an ISD.
