The other guys just mimic the national broadcasters. They are NBA and NFL puppets more than anything. Not a original story among any of those guys. They are just repeating. The only reason I listen to 1420 is for the local sports news.

You can thank Dave Schultz for calling out Farmer on that bs and getting Farmer run out of town. Walker was simply a mouthpiece for Farmer during that whole fiasco. During that time, Walker alienated a ton of the local audience by demeaning anyone who would question Farmer.
Dave definitely took one for the team on that one. He ultimately got pushed out of 103.7 around a year ago.

Maybe they can fill his time slot with simulcast of Matt Moscona. Kidding of course, but the reaction to the amount of LSU sports talk would be pretty great.

Pretty much the same. I actually don’t mind Golic and Wingo but otherwise I hate the National shows, I want to hear the local guys. lol probably be switching over to another station if they go to more national programming. Of course right now it’s all kind of weird.
