I believe it. Hell, I've seen a penalty for touching a QB in the helmet. It wasn't even a slap, the guy got 3 fingers on him by chance.

It's the amount of penalties being called that's annoying. Plus Jimmy Graham had two feet down and a knee and still got called an incomplete.

I'll take your word on that, you're usually not as Sainttarded as some others on here.

The officiating has really got out of hand.

It looks like he was starting the slide, so he's untouchable... right?

Not even close to the head fwiw.

He started his slide too late. Fletcher was already going for the hit. The very next play Brady scrambled and the defense wasn't as aggressive and he didn't slide.

Its debatable, but I do agree it looks like he started his slide too late (I didn't see the game, and its not exactly a wide viewed .gif)

Yeah he started a tick too late.

Calling anything to helmet when the player is that low is insane, all he's offering up is his helmet basically.

It was a bad reactionary call

It looked really bad in real time but it was 100 percent legal.

Thats what it looks like. Its insane that this league is turning into that. People get lit up on completely legal tackles, and someone has to throw the flag.

Phew... my money is still on Richard Seymour starting a ref fight first.

He went crazy when we traded him to Oakland

He's always been insane, BB just manages to direct the crazy in a more positive direction (or people understand he could probably have them killed/chopped up/buried within a couple of hours)

I love the NFL but goddamn this is probably the worst year for the league i can remember in terms of officiating.

Its not the officiating they are just doing what they are told.
