What is the source of this article? Jake wasn't supposed to get his grade from the Advisory Committee until the first week in January. I have a hard time believing he got it already, someone found out, and did an interview about it already.

profootball talk.com supposedly

sounds more like a shot at McShay to me

esp when they say "locker could very well have been a 1st round pick but McShay is an idiot"

Isn't it run by the NFL? I would guess it's pretty accurate

i would think, but i don't know. How many teams/scouts are sending out smokescreens or spending much time evaluating someone until they actually declare? Is it supposed to be anonymous info?

right, it sounds personal.

not saying there can't be any merit to this, but i want a more objective link, or some historical data.

Locker would most likely be a first round pick based on physical ability alone, ala Matt Jones. He's 6'3 225, ran a 4.39 and was benching 450 before Sark showed up and shut him down on the bench press. Now that he has been learning the passing game from one of the best QB developers on the country and has a rocket for an arm, I don't see how he would slip out of the first round if he did go this year. He's a sure-fire top 5 pick next year IMO.

Another Jason White. No arm strength. Bradford will be a mega-bust.
Jason White didn't fail due to arm strength.

His body just quit on him.

I agree with this.

But I would still like to see a link.

if Locker thought he was going to be a top10 pick, no way he would've stayed.

Scott Wright from nfldraftcountdown is pretty bad IMO. Dude had Locker as a top 3 draft pick and Tebow as a top20 pick.
