Seems like they went for a sorta soft launch and didn’t really advertise it much. It’s a very interesting concept and at least tried to take a different approach than just a round table debating sports. It’ll get time to grow an audience on FS1

Agreed.
I do think they've got the perfect on-air talent for it.

That would’ve been smart. I liked the Cowherd show that came on before Berman and the gang a few years ago.

It coming on at 4:30 eastern can't help, either. They also did a bad job getting the word out. I only heard about it listening to Bill Simmons' podcast when he had Cousin Sal on.

I wouldn’t mind watching it but with it being on at 330 I have to remember to set the dvr and I haven’t yet

Todd Fuhrman is a total dork and Clay Travis is a terrible gambler. Pass!

Fuhrman wasn’t an oddsmaker.
He was a frontline Supervisor for one of Caesars’ sports books. He created the ticket writer’s schedule and decided when they should go on their lunch breaks.

What Lester said, and BB03, VSiN(free app..also on SiriusXM ch204), has 8 hrs of content a day, with very sharp guys like Kenny White(a true oddsmaker), Jimmy Vaccaro, Vinny Magliulo, Josh Towers, Chris Andrews, Pauly Howard, Gil Alexander, Matt Youmans,etc..
Also check out Ross Tucker's podcast, Dameshek's podcast, LV Sportsline with Dave Cokin, YouTube's SBR channel for BMOC & Loshak and The Bag..etc..
Many of the shows have overlapping guests such as Westgate's Oddsmaker Jeff Sherman, Jay Kornegay,etc..
Then, there are websites like TheRx, EOG, etc..with some good regional handicapping by locals that post plays.

VSin is awesome. I haven't been able to fully dive in, but their Sirius channel is great.

I agree. I wouldn't necessarily rely on their betting advice that much, but I like their breakdowns. It's entertaining.

What about Smooth Jimmy?

Here is the most important thing to learn. Only 3% of gamblers beat the house

I'll add that the more you chase, the higher percent you need to win to overcome the vig

If you lose a lot on Saturday and Sunday there’s always a second division French women’s hockey league somewhere to bet on. You can win it all back!

Watching today, it would be cool if they made the show interactive where audience could vote to bet with/against panelist prior to games starting (which would allow some DVR time/social media replay time). And could show how they did against the audience when recapping prior day bets.

i've had some nice wins from Romania, czech, finnish soccer leagues.
One team was 6-0 last 6 vs the home team, and 4-0 vs them on road. Home team who's o for last 6 was a huge home favorite. got the team who's rolled them at +420 they won 4-0.
Been bailed out before on the Mexican league late at night, gambling.

So ratings for Clay Travis show on
@FS1
are absolutely awful. A little known show called
@barstoolvantalk
got nearly 2x the viewers and it aired at 1am.

Fuhrman went 8-0 on his posted bets last week.

Clay may be a clown and terrible gambler, but anything that moves us toward mainstream acceptance of this is a positive. I prefer a world with more shows like this and less fantasy talk.
