And keep In mind this is coming out of a Cowboys timeout.

LINK

(Obviously you can’t see the exact words out of his mouth but it’s clear as day he’s saying something to the official, you can’t deny that)

Well there’s video proof of him saying something to the official.

So clearly he’s lying.

Goodell clearly wants Dallas vs Mahomo and Taylor for viewership. They will try to get it that way.

Dallas finally gets the nod in the script after 30 years, huh?

Jimmy Johnson brought back that magic in Dallas for one night.

Did the ref get confused? Probably.

Let’s think this through: if the ref gets confused and reports the wrong eligible player to Dallas, best case/fairest scenario for both sides is to replay the try from the normal yard line with no penalty which is exactly what ended up happening on the THIRD attempt. Detroit still got TWO more tries at the conversion.

Campbell and the Lions were “getting cute” all night. Let’s also not forget that Detroit chose to go for it on 4th down instead of kicking a chip shot FG which would have given them the lead w/o a 2 pt conversion at the end of the game.

It is the offense’s responsibility to make sure the ref knows who’s reporting to keep things fair for the defense. The fact that Detroit couldn’t take a time out to clarify with the refs is also on them: their QB threw a pick that forced the Lions to use that precious TO on defense.

Seeing glimpses of Doug Pederson in this game. TAKE THE POINTS!

Field goal range from being down 7-6, go for it on 4th and fail. Now down 7-3, requiring a touchdown for a lead change instead of a field goal.

Kick the extra point and take the game to overtime. Go for it, penalty now on the 7. Go for it again fail, penalty now around the 3. Go for it again fail, lose the game.

Refs can be blamed all you want but not taking points when they are there is 100% on the coach.

You can prove he was talking to the official and not his two teammates that he actually ran up to?

No, no you can’t.

That was just rude by the NFL. At least you didn't have the he didn't catch it and have 'total' control called on a winning catch, while your eyes say he did.

Or for Saints fans, there was no pass interference while the man is taken out before the ball gets there.

I bet those in the sound control room could bring that up for you.

They’re dragging the official, and his entire crew, on countdown.

This is the hardest I’ve ever seen them go after officiating. Normally they are pretty pedestrian when calling out the refs

It wasn’t a live action miss. Theres no excuse for not paying attention to who’s telling you what as the head official.

Going for it down 7-3 was the right decision in the moment.

Not going to fault DC for going for two and the win any of those times rather than playing for OT, hoping to win a coin toss and then subsequently driving the ball 75 yards. Or, needing to get a stop first.

It is 100% on him and he owns those decisions. His aggressiveness is one of the reasons they have gone from 3 wins to 11 and a division title. Sometimes it doesn't work.

Especially when DC insinuated he went over the entire play with the officials before the game...

It’s just another example that the NFL has officiating problems, I’m not sure if anyone know what to do about it.

After the missed call he was too emotional. I was thinking just kick it and calm down.

They went down the field pretty easily on the Cowboys that last drive, I would've liked their chances in OT.

Exactly!!

We aren’t talking about a “bang bang play”

The clock wasn’t even running.

No excuse.

That whole referee crew needs to be fired

But nothing will happen

Most ref and players are mic’d up

It will either come out or they will sweep it under the rug
