Just saw this and the apology from the Sun Belt stating that play should have been stopped and that the refs handled it wrong.

I don't get why teams that "won" try to quickly run off the court or the field after a weird ending. Like they're thinking we can run straight to the bus and leave and our win will count. You see that all the time.
They're just going to come get you out of the locker room if there's another play.

Like in baseball, it makes sense to run off the field after a close play if it helps sell the way you want it to go, but running to the locker room, I agree doesn't make a ton of sense.
