I assume they would toss a bean bag if they thought this occurred? I’m not an official though.

Don’t have an answer for the disparity between the halves and halves nots but it’s concerning. I understand it can be cyclical for some programs but it’s not good for the organization and the split seems to have accelerated the issue in places throughout the years.

A lot of it has to do with poor development prior to HS, fewer kids playing football(tackle) at younger ages. Combined with The rise of charter schools, general decline of traditional public schools and in some socio demographic groups other sports or interests pulling kids from football.

Also the decline in youth coaching especially qualified youth(pre HS) trying to teach kids 15 offensive sets and 75 plays when they can't or won't teach technique, form or even how to line up. It is a very complex issue. Yes for some it is cylcical for others it is a spiral.

Part of the solution could be the LHSAA taking more control over the reclassification process… using computer rankings to raise or lower teams by a class…

wM will have zero trouble w Ruston and less with Neville.

WM has every advantage over Ruston, but it is HS football. My two cents

OK, we will see. I am already pumped up for the WM/Neville game. The atmosphere at Rebel Stadium is going to be electric.

BTW, I just read that Ruston has a new DC this year. Kyle Williams is gone from Ruston.

Chalmette needs to stop playing down to their competition, Fountainebleau is not a good team.

Fumble and a dropped TD

They are not a good team but they had some speed on defense
