Games I care about:

(5-1) Lutcher at (6-0) St. Michael

These two 6-4A opponents are tied for 4th in the latest 4A power ratings. Should be a fun one, with both teams running wide open offenses with plenty of passing and speed at the skill positions.

(5-1) Scotlandville at (5-1) Zachary

Scotlandville lost badly to Denham Springs last week, which was a real head-scratcher. Now the Hornets get a chance for redemption at Zachary, who seems to get better every week.

(2-4) Redemptorist at (5-1) Episcopal

Episcopal needs to rebound after a tough loss to U-High, and they will try to do it against a resurgent Redemptorist team, who had 2 100-yard rushers last week vs. Northeast.

(6-0) St. Thomas More at (4-2) Northside

STM has looked beatable the last 2 weeks, beating Barbe and Teurlings by a total of 6 points. They will travel to Northside, whose only losses are to 5A's Acadiana and Carencro.

STM will rout northside by 21+

The best game this week may be Carencro Vs. Barbe

5-0 C.E. Byrd @ 6-0 Parkway (Bossier)

Byrd coming off a 48-7 beat down over previously unbeaten and top 10 Haughton. Parkway bested Southwood 39-12.

Carthon and Alexander comin at cha!

Port Allen is overrated, they struggled to be my Mustangs. St.Charles should win easily.

I don't know. I think Port Allen comes in pumped up and gives scc hell. Won't be enough to win though.

Chalmetteowl....ready for Friday, brother?
Should be a damn good game. I haven't seen Rummel yet, so I can't decide if that #2 is accurate, despite power rankings.

i think we're gonna get manhandled again after what i saw saturday night... with 6, 9, 10, and 12 in district, we're screwed if we're about the 20th best team in the state. it's maddening
