West Monroe looked good. Moved some players from defense to the offensive side of ball and pushed Neville around. Good job by the coaching staff.

I think the WM OL took it personally losing to Carencro and stepped up their game several notches.

Neville had a couple of huge DTs that looked around 280lbs each.

The huge O-Lineman for Neville looked the part but was not much of a factor in the game.

IDK but the Neville program has regressed a step or two over the last 2-3 years.

I saw that killer spirit out there Friday night against Neville.
I think we will see a very strong WM team this year.

WM will probably win out the rest of the regular season.

Ruston has been making some noise and if they get back their good RB, Hargrove, I think it will be a hard fought game.

Up next for WM is ASH(Alexandria). They have been competitive with WM the last few games so you can't take them lightly.

Ash probably won’t give them much resistance. WM don’t play around.

Tioga hung wit Brother Martin most of the game. Lost 56-42 and from what I hear it was a fight.

Jesuit was winning the entire game until 16 seconds were on the clock. BM is OVERrated.

West Monroe may win out but they are no threat to win state. They too have definitely regressed over the past few years. They have lost to a 4a school and are celebrating for beating another 4a school .

Not true.

BM took the lead with the first possession of the second half, 24-20.

It was back and forth for the remainder of the game.

And Jesuit scores again; and held that lead until 16 seconds left.

BM needed some luck and a helluva lot of help from the refs to walk out of HM with that win.

Not true, again.

BM was leading in the fourth quarter when Jesuit scored a touchdown with less than five minutes remaining.

BM was able to score on the ensuing drive with twenty seconds remaining on the clock. In addition, on the play previous to the final touchdown, BM had it third and twenty and the Jays allowed a twenty one yard pass to their one yard line.

So, Jesuit was leading the majority of the game? You know that’s true. I know that’s true; and BM is EXTREMELY overrated. #3 and sometimes # 1 is all that team has.

And it’s probably up there with the most chicken shite, cheap shotting, obnoxious HS teams I’ve ever seen.

Rummel takes it again this year. BM has no chance.

Moral victories are all you have when you haven't won in five years.

Also, BM's coach, a Jesuit grad, was very upset with at least two blatant missed dead ball cheap shots by Jesuit defense players. In addition, BM's Offensive Line coach, another Jesuit grad, was not happy with cheap shots by Jesuit's outside linebacker. So, get out of here with BM being the most "cheap shotting" team.

Also, no one is disputing that Rummel isn't the team to beat this year. But again, moral victories.

Respond if you would like, but I am done.

I went to Rummel. What 5 years are you talking about? Mid 90’s?

Just going by what I saw. And BM is OVERrated.

Oh, with the strong defense of Jesuit's performance I thought you were a Jesuit grad.

Anyway, calm down and enjoy Rummel's season, they will more than likely win District again.

Well, BM put up only 3 more points and heavily outranked that Jesuit team. So, what does that say about BM’s stout “D?” Not much...

Anyway, I like a tough team. An underdog. Jesuit seems to be that team this year. Winning against another higher ranked team today, I’d say don’t sleep on them. Because if you do; you will just need all of 47 minutes and 44 seconds to beat them.

As for Rummel; we know they aren’t as OVERrated as BM!

ETA 2020 Points Against

Brother Martin 112, 3 g avg 37 pts
Jesuit 68, 3 g avg 23 pts

that stout BM “D”

Rummel gonna hang 50 on y’all.

My old man went to Rummel in the 60’s and he still talks a little smack when the team is good

I mean WM did beat Acadiana in their scrimmage right before the season started. It wasn’t like a jamboree(regular game), but WM was the only team that scored(70yrd pass and a scoop and score), so that’s a win to me. It may be different in a regular game setting, but they did hang with the defending state champs this season.

Karr is stacked. They have beat Easton, Catholic, and Curtis this year

And they will only get stronger as they probably have the biggest and nicest campus in the entire state. That place looks like some of those super 6A-7A campuses in Texas and Alabama

Agreed! Arledge was on TV saying that Friday’s win over NeVille was a top 3 win in program history. I spit my drink out.

FWIW, I’d spit my drink out too if I heard a dead man talking.
