If west Jeff jumps up 10 or more spots, dutchtown would go from hosting a game to going to Shreveport.

Not gonna happen but that would be funny.

one more note... Grace King has one more game left, their independent district championship against Thomas Jefferson next week, and if they win, it's the first winning season in their school history dating back to 1980

Avoyelles averaged 50 points a game against the rest of their schedule, but only scored 8 against Caldwell Parish on October 5th

St. James beat John Curtis in 2007 and lost in the Dome... now they're on their second consecutive winless season

Some notes from the website's projected 5A ratings:

You'd get at least 2 week 10 rematches: Jesuit/west Jeff and Mandeville/Covington

You'd get one other district rematch: Dutchtown/St. Amant

Live Oak and ESJ have to go to Shreveport

Denham Springs would have to go to West Monroe

Ruston would have to go ALL THE WAY down the bayou to play South Lafourche

Spread teams beat WM. You can't lineup in a traditional formation and run it and expect to win. Acadiana won due to 2 huge pass plays. One for a TD on the first play and one to Eugene that set up their other TD. The only time Rummel played WM they tried to run the ball and was shut out. If they spread it out they can win, but not by pounding the rock.

Rummel can throw at will if they want with Williams at qb. Just depends if they need to and Roth allows it.

WM has a couple D1 athletes in the secondary, but has trouble with 4-5 receiver sets. In 2-3 receiver sets they can match up.

no real star on offense besides Williams, but they have a bunch of legit weapons. And unlike years past, they have a little bit so size.

So not only is LO going to the playoffs, they're finishing higher than Denham?

This is earth right?

As far as the Central game went, meh. I honestly was expecting that. Live Oak pushed back early, but didn't have enough to really hang around. I will say this, for the athletes Live Oak gets, Claverie is pretty damn good for a sophomore.
