Definitely.

# 9 wr and #3 running back are legit playmakers. The qb for catholic will be good not sure what year he is.

I also agree. They didn't even throw to their other main WR, who is a 6'5-1/2" monster target who did real well against Redemptorist.

All three are juniors I believe. I want to say they have a backup running back who is a national track star as well, so skill positions shouldn't be lacking this year.

Pace and Beard took over the game for zachary. Beard is one of the best wideouts in the state.

Yep.

and i was thinking northshore would be another scrimmage before we play holy cross

oh well i'll take all the power points i can get... 15 this week and we very well could have had 17 if holy cross didn't choke and rummel got a chance to play

Catholic will be fine the rest of the season I wish them well. That was a great game nobody deserved to lose. Catholic will be tough when they eliminate the mistakes. Zachary and Catholic can play better then they did but the weather hindered them.

If the weather holds up on Labor Day and anyone is in the city, the St Aug/McD35 game has been rescheduled for Monday 6PM @ Gormley...

Brother Martin 17-0 Gulf Coast HS (Naples, FL)

Very sloppy game in the driving rain. Almost the entire first half=-==all I saw==== was played between the 30s. GCHS picked up one Martin fumble, got inside the 15 and fumbled it right back. There must have been at least four fumbles in the first half.

Power went off right as the horn sounded for half time at Tad Gormley. BMHS band played their halftime show under the stadium, then were dismissed.

We didn't follow the game over to Pan American. Seems the second half went better for the Crusaders.

Play-by-play from Brother Martin.

I thought esj would win this one? Anybody go and can give the rundown

I didn't see the game. But I've read that Carencro could be very good this year. And my thoughts on ESJ is that they're always over-rated.

Looks like they've regressed to where they were the last time they were in AA, around 15 years ago.
