Which is nothing new. They were giving those out in the 90s. Of course, the trophies were much cooler and larger back then.
my grandpa got one in the 30s....

I am not aware of a state that does not giver runner up trophies in high school finals.

I guess it’s cool to put it in the trophy case and when you have prospective students come by you can see, “look at all these trophies we have”

BM with a kickoff return to the 8yd line and then a 3 and out.

Bonis has them right where he wants them.
there are lot of little things JC did vc catholic that they are doing tonight as well, play calling and scheme on both sides of the ball. offense a little more creative ... for the veer.

We have a few, and I guess you could say it’s better than not having trophies

Of course. No need for a trophy for it.

We hated it. Admin and coaches wanted the trophy to “show how hard we worked”

And then Songy was still a Sader at heart when he won state with Jesuit?

Was hoping Songy was the good luck charm for Saders this year but I guess only lucky enough to make the dome but not enough to win.

Rumblings in the stands that this is Coach J.T. Curtis’ last game with the Patriots.

He’s not going anywhere until he gets the all time HS wins record next year.

Is Songy on BM’s staff this year?

I guess to each his own. I had the honor to play for a LA 5A state championship and even though we lost by 2x digits it was pretty cool experience.

Update on BM/JC?

Pretty classy by JC to not run up the score.

They could have very easily scored 2 more touchdowns at the end

Brother Martin had no business being in that game.

They knew they won. No need to run it up and make a local rival look bad.

I give much credit to Coach JT, he could have easily made it look 50-0
