no calls and misses are two different animals, and even with 7 on the field some fouls happen where an official is not looking, and for an official to call a foul they need to see the whole action. happens at every level,,,
and with 150 plays in game, coaches, players, even ball boys and of course officials miss a couple. but as someone that a pretty fair amount of experience - overall the games have been called well. Now keep in mind NFHS protocols for holding, opi and dpi are very different from NFL and NCAA. especially with RPO offenses holds can happen outside the sight line of officials, but they are usually so far away from the action they are not relevent.

North Desoto throws a touchdown on the last play of the game. No PAT allowed. 28-25 final. Came down to missed PAT.

No I’m paid, but I also evaluate refs from august through Jan. I’m not taking offense at I try to educate and get better. It’s kinds why coaches love seeing me show up.

Gotta say we had a much better season with refs this year. Only one blowup for me, which is REALLY good. 
The blowup was a kid turning and waving to our sideline as he scored. In the same game the previous year, the same exact ref that threw the flag in both games, took the touchdown off the flag for us. This year, just took it on the kickoff. We were going crazy because it was literally the same teams, same ref, same call-although our kid just stared at their guy when he scored the previous season. He admitted he messed it up the previous season.

We have 8 high schools in the River Parishes, 3 won state titles this year; pretty good percentage!

Most have at least 4 titles except Riverside and ESJ. ESJ won a couple when they were still Leon Godchaux
