What's up with the weird travel rule for the "Lower Seed" teams?? If they are the VISITORS Round 1...do they automatically get to be HOME team 2nd Round?? Not fair to the Higher seed team.

However if a team like Neville has a BYE Week Round 1...They would get to be HOME team Round 2?? So its still possible Lower seed team travels consecutive weeks?

Cant find the LHSAA handbook on line

How do 3-7 teams make the playoffs???? They don’t have enough teams with winning records????? If so, they need to rethink the system.

44-3 Alexandria at the end of 2 quarters. The Bruins shouldn’t have been in the playoffs.

It’s been progressively changing over the years… first they let the higher seed host the semifinals, and now they did so for the quarterfinals

Now the second round is the only one a lower seeded team could possibly host. That might change one day also

Alexandria 58
Bonnabel 9

This is stupid. 16 teams is sufficient for select.

this is still better than the year 3 9-1 teams ranked in the top ten missed the playoffs(in 3 different classes)

And the Alex game was running clock entire second half. Thank God, because the first quarter was like 45 minutes long.

Bonnabel players deserve better. They are just not coached. They had some good looking athletes out there.

Very, we beat a 9-0 team in week 10 that was ranked 3rd. We didn’t beat them by enough points. They lost in semis to eventual state champs.

There is no support. No coaching, no fan support, no parent support, etc.

They have enough talent to beat smaller / terrible teams.

My kids go to a private school. Most schools in our district are in a similar situation to Bonnabel.

They have talent but no structure, no support and no development. It’s sad when we play a road district game. Some of these schools might have 8-10 people in the stands at their home field.
