This stuff is happening at an increasing rate nationwide and the penalties keep getting more severe - that's why.
it’s a shame. I like a crew that puts up w zero shite early to set the tone and calm them down. I will say I’ve been impressed with everyone we have played this year, no bs at all. I think it’s a reflection of some good coaching staff’s. I’ve seen some teams blow up w each other and a player assault his coach in a JV game.

It’s more effective with an active and mobile crew that works all game(even can start in pregame). Some kids could care less about getting a flag though but having a big presence and communicating can quell it. Sending them off the field for a few plays helps too. But ultimately it’s accountability long before they’re on the field that is the root cause. Schools that are having incidents like this could soon have a hard time getting officials.

Unless they change the rules again, which wouldn’t surprise me, Walker would play at home next weekend.

Last year, Walker was the five seed and played the second round on the road versus a Lower seed

LHSAA listed Ferriday as straight up advancing 30-7

If Ferriday is allowed to advance, then LHSAA can no longer claim concern for sportsmanship and player safety. Period.
that's the way the score reporting database works - home team reports it - listed as under review. If there is no hudl it will take time to get other video.

They have changed the rules... home team is the higher seed in every round in every bracket.

they may need the one from here which I just watched. The comments on video. “That like Sicily island Vidalia. It may be better….or like Jonesboro Hodge”. Jesus.

LA kid definitely swung early in the altercation. I can’t imagine they are absolved, but the Ferriday went straight gang war.

Not sure of the names of the crew from last night, but it was the best I’ve had in 11 years of coaching. Lafayette association. They were very professional and a pleasure all night.

Yea based off the video there’s gonna be at least a few LA kids that won’t be allowed to play if it’s just a ferriday forfeit. Which for a team that was ranked 25 coming in and down bad in the 2nd when this happened, they may just say frick it and call it good, idk

Seriously. Any time a big injury happens, it’s always a school poised to have a dream run and never a perennial state contender.

Well LA’s next opponent if they are giving the win would be against Welsh. They play in the same district. Played 2 weeks ago. Welsh won 31-10
