The block in the back call was absolutely correct call. Saw it live and in person. If multiple flags come out on the same penalty/play it’s usually not going to be argued and correct.

Maybe im clouded a little because the only times I've seen Neville was against WM and coming from seeing WM but they just don't seem like they have it this year. I hope I'm wrong. I pull for all the area teams around here.

WM is loaded. Absolutely loaded. UHigh may very well be the best team in the state but no way they blow WM out. Ruston hasn't scored less than 21 pts until tonight and was shut out.

Unless the rule changed from block in the back to block in the side then that was a terrible call. It wasn't even close. Clearly hit the player on his side. If you saw it live then you didn't have the benefit of seeing the replay

I was at the Sterlington vs Union game. The LHSAA should suspend or fire the refs. Union should have blown them out. How do you call offensive PI when the corner back never turns around and runs into the receiver. The wr caught the ball and scored. Holding all night and atleast 3 PI should have been called on them. Unbelievable, by far the worst officiated game I have watched.

Given there’s no instant replay in high school it doesn’t really matter what was seen on the replay. The kid had at least one hand on the back from what I saw.
It was a good call under the circumstances.
I’ll reconsider if/when I see the replay.
ETA: On another note (I’m sure it’s been discussed ad nauseum and maybe it deserves its own thread), but are we stuck with the select/non-select nonsense forever?

They cheered while Acadiana had a player hurt tonight. They are good with signs like this and a sign they put up that said Acadiana is garbage. Straight trash. Zachary wishes they were Acadiana and West Monroe. There is more to success than just being talented. Classless is what Zachary is.

I take it Lakeshore couldn’t do anything on offense. I was shocked to see that Lakeshore was shut out.
