How much depth can players from teams that win 0-2 games year give you? I can't stress enough just how bad Boothville-Venice, Buras, and Phoenix were. They literally lost by over 80 points to PS a few times.

warm bodies with varsity experience are better than 140lb sophomores starting at DE like a lot of 1A Schools are forced to play with. Lol, I didn't even know Phoenix still played then. I know they were horrible teams. Just think how good SP would've been if Mackey and company would've stayed.

Boothville Venice...- perennial 2nd round, quarterfinals team until Katrina (with an insanely small roster)

Buras...- decent 2A program

Phoenix...- only lost by 80-0 to Port Sulphur their 1st year... 2004 1A semifinalists

they wouldn't have got players from Phoenix anyway since that school's still open, just class C now with no football team (but good basketball)

Wonder if STM rolled over last night to stay out of the #4 spot and on the other side of the bracket from JC? I thought many were suggesting they would be the #2 seed at one point.

So we've got ND and STM in our bracket? ND will be a tougher match-up than ECA would have been IMO

1, 4, 5, & 8 are on same side of bracket

STM would have played Division 1 if they were trying to dodge curtis

Ah. I'm not used to a 16 team bracket. That actually makes the brackets pretty even then, from what I know about the teams.

Anyone know anything about Thomas Jefferson?

Oh, and at Episcopal being the #1 seed. Helps when all the good teams leave your class doesn't it. Too bad they wouldn't agree to play us pre-district.
