Used the Power Ratings posted on LouisianaFootballTalk to come up with these projections. Shaw and Holy Cross play tomorrow so this may change. Home teams are in CAPS.

UPDATE: Some of the Power Ratings have changed, also tweaked it up a little bit so there's no confusion as to whom is playing whom in the next round. Feel free to correct anything that may be wrong.

Nevermind, Acadiana looks like the #1 seed.

Without upsets that would give West Monroe this path:

Denham Springs, Central (BR), East Ascension, Parkway

That should be a walk to the semifinals and then they would be guaranteed the semifinal game at WM since Parkway can't host. Pretty much the best possible bracket they could ask for honestly.

Their principal had the opposing coach arrested last year for not clearing his team off the field 30 minutes prior to the game. LHSAA ruled no home playoff game this year for them.

They'd have to come to WM. Less likely than if WM had to make the trip down South. It's possible, upsets happen every year.

Im just messing around, i have no clue how good central is this year, been way too busy to check any games out this year

A switch has definitely been flipped it seems. The 31-7 win over Ouachita last week was nice. The defense has really come around. I think they said Natchitoches Central had -2 yards for the first half tonight.

No. He was already taking the time off and had a set back a few weeks ago. Last I heard he was recovering well.

I have nothing against the private schools. They have the right to recruit and some obviously do it aggressively. This is how they stay dominant, but it's great seeing that bracket without them involved. Hopefully the same thing can be done for all the major sports in the near future.

Parkway stays in Shreveport round 1 and Destrehan and Acadiana are in the opposite side of the bracket.

Parkway lucked out. They basically only have to take one extra road trip until the semis (two if every favorite wins, which never happens), and right now they are paired up with EA without Palelei in the semis. EA is .500 without Palelei.

Btw, your 1A is wrong. 1-5 get byes, if what I saw on LHSAA is right.

Acadiana is paired with Barbe in the quarters and Destrehan is paired with Dutchtown.

You have to say that the LHSAA gave Destrehan an easier road to the semis with their punishment, and if Barbe upsets Acadiana, they could play at home in the semis. I know Acadiana won in the regular season, but Barbe has experience. Destrehan curb-stomped Dutchtown on the road already this year.

That's rich considering the vast majority of recruiting violations come from public schools.

Don't see how EA makes it to Parkway. Very misleading 3 seed without the heart and soul of their team.

How nice. Maybe Sandy Vagina will get her little tarnished trophy to bring home to Winnfield. They can have a parade and everything. :
