Well I hope they got good notes because all Notre dame did to Newman was run the ball every play
133 yards passing 100 of it in the first half....

I know all too well what happened last year and so does Coach Cook and every kid on the ND team. They went into the game last year like I did, thinking it would be another blow-out.

It won't be like that this year, I promise you.

I think if ND remembers to stay disciplined all game, contain the edges and fill the gaps immediately, then they win and they win pretty easy. If I'm Coach Cook, I'd bring 8 men in the box with a spy on Trey Amos and make him beat me throwing the ball (which he never does).
if CNI has trouble tackling 16 again... it will be a long long night again for the panthers....

I guarantee they had at least 8-10 PI calls against them
I charted fouls for that game.... I think it was half that... at best..

It sure seemed like every fricking drive they had was helped by PI call.

And ND had 5 fricking turnovers.

That's why it's called Any Given Sunday...anything can happen. I am thoroughly interested to see Indest's game plan knowing his qb can't throw and ND excels at stopping the run. That's why I mentioned that I bet we see a ton of trick/gimmicky plays from CHNI...sometimes they actually work though .

from field level they all looked legit..... when you don't see 4 hands going up for the ball... you likely have PI(this from a former safety).

the team with the most turnovers and fewest rushing yards always loses...

Cougars may not win, but UHigh isn't going to stop them either.

Should be a good game. Uhigh starters have only given up 2 or 3 touchdowns since the Catholic game. Will be nice to see the varsity on the field after halftime since it hasn't happened in a couple of months.

Is there any way to catch the games besides paying for the nfhs network or CST (I don't have it)? Trying to watch ND tonight.

I'm also curious about this. The lack of a free live stream would be typical for Louisiana, though.

Sterlington beats Eunice by double digits. Same they did to Iota on the road.

Sterlington will struggle against the Wing T just like they did against Church Point. They gave up 56 to Church Point and barely got by them. Eunice defense is good enough to hold them in check while the offense balls out.

Yeah, I think it's around $9/mo. My buddy is streaming Kentwood/Oak Grove right now. 13-7 Kentwood last update I got.

So I have a legitimate question about Amite/Kentwood, and I fully admit that I haven’t kept up with Louisiana High School football in a long time.

Considering that both Amite and Kentwood are in Tangipahoa parish, and most of the money is in the south end of the parish, how the hell are they still battling for championships while schools like Independence or Loranger can’t get their shite together to compete.

Is it just that Amite/Kentwood are better coached? Have better players? More money in the city? Just strange to see them doing so well for now decades and some wish they had a quarter of that consistency.

amite and kentwood have always been light years better than loranger .. .and somewhat better than indy..

but stability of administration and staffs along with lax boundary rules parish wide...
