Doesn't matter anymore if it's the last game before the state tourney. Higher seed is home, no matter who traveled. WM traveled the last 2 games while Ouachita was home all 3 games.

Why is Madison Prep in the non-select category?
Posted on 3/4/17 at 7:07 pm to chalmetteowl
Ellender was down 3 at half and cMe back and whooped the shite out of Bossier. After last year's fiasco, they had payback on their minds and got it.

May be dumb question but I though scotlandville had one of best players in nation? Ho come they aren't in later rounds?

Politics...I've been told on this board schools like Madison Prep, Warren Easton, Karr, and Landry Walker are allowed to be in Non Select because if they were moved to Select, the power of votes would swing to Select. So they get to do far more damage than Curtis and Evangel, the two teams responsible for the split in the first place. Sure they were great at football, but these other teams are winning or at least making it to the finals in every sport it seems.

you're probably just looking for them in nonselect...
it's an insiduous plot by public school supporter Democrats to keep the numbered classes for the nonselect schools and then act like those are the only schools that matter
Posted on 3/4/17 at 7:16 pm to JJ27
let's be honest about this Madison Prep team... does it really matter what bracket they're in?
Posted on 3/4/17 at 7:18 pm to chalmetteowl
Well they did lose to Scottlandville. But in 2A/3A-their actual enrollment-I doubt anyone is beating them regardless.
Posted on 3/4/17 at 7:26 pm to JJ27
Best solution is to move teams up and down in class based on competitive ability instead of the split. All the split is doing is just changing the name of a few teams that will dominate.
Posted on 3/5/17 at 7:21 am to lsu31always
So public schools wanted to get rid of the privates and they create the Split? Now they want to get rid of the good teams in the public side of the split?
Either way you cut it, the split is complete BS and the kids suffer from it.
