33 of 40 top 4 seeds are in semis.
Also 19 of 20 top 2 seeds are in.

4 5-seeds
2 6-seeds
1 7-seed

Should be some good games.

Last year's D3 nonselect was Nos. 6, 7, 8 and 13

No. 6 Marksville over No. 13 Red River in the finals.

Curtis missed a ton of FTs also I think they were 2/13 in 2nd half, so that part evened out ...now Curtis defense to start both halves was the difference 14-3 run to start game then 12-0 run to start 2nd half

I think Red River avenges that loss. Watched them play a couple times this year. They are very good.

Was just looking at the brackets, and this was surprising.

Select Division 1 - Liberty/St. Aug play 3/12 then STM/Curtis play 3/13, finals are 3/15... seems 1 day rest vs 2 days rest is a decent size advantage, the only other division not playing the semis on the same day is Class C, but at least there it is 2 days vs 3 days in between... Probably happens every year, just an observation I found interesting

I saw Marksville in the Sunkist at sTm. I wasn't impressed. I am very surprised they made it this far.

Country day over Dunham in the Select D3 semis 54-53. Deuce McCallister's kid hit the game winner and Corey Brewer's kid led the game in scoring

What's the story with Cory Brewer's kid living in NOLA? That's odd.

Corey is an assistant coach for the pelicans. Has been for a couple years.

KB is a sophomore. College prospect. Still has plenty of room to grow so tough to say what level at this point.

Corey could be out of a job in a few months if the Pels move on from Green. Who knows where he'll finish, but he's been at Country Day for a few years now and loves it.

Dunham had a 3 pt lead with the ball with 1:20 left with no shot clock. Game should have been over. Protect the ball, make your free throws, don’t give up easy threes.

Shows you how much I pay attention to the nba. I had no idea he was on the staff with the pelicans.
