Until semifinals it’s whoever traveled least hosts (with the exception of byes). If that’s tied I think it’s whoever traveled last hosts, then seeding if both are tied.

That game was a microcosm of our season.

No kicking or punting game

No creativity in play calling

DBs that are constantly out of position / in pursuit

The injuries this year also took a huge toll

not necessarily true. If they play a team that had a bye then that team hosts, or if the other team they’re playing was a higher seeded road team then they host.

Bi district - seed
Regional - bye / travel last / seed
Quarters - travel most / travel last / seed
Semis - seed
Champ - Dome

That's what I thought but the radio announcers in the game I was listening to were saying something different tonight.

Then they just didn’t know. A lot of people get super confused by the rules honestly.

Guy above laid it out well

On another note it’ll be interesting to see how berwick (really the berwick parents) handle the bogalusa situation.

Thanks. I watch the weekly LHSAA thread to keep up with Denham's games and then no mention of the Denham Springs game for the playoffs thread.

Franklinton took Cecelia down to the wire. Had a late TD called back for holding. Amazing game.

I was referring more to them never having the situation West Monroe has, where they’re the first choice for kids in that area, and we’re between the 15th and 20th in ours

Not at all!
The HC on OC have no idea how to tailor the offensive scheme to fit the players they have on the roster. The play calling is from the Les Miles school of how to not win games. The offensive scheme is what we played at Destrehan in the 90’s. It’s time move on.
Special Teams well that speaks for itself. But is also on the coaches. The best kicker quit because they wouldn’t let him dress out because his primary sport interfered with football practice. So we went with the method of just stick someone out there to give it the ole college try, can’t blame the kids for that they had no coaching and just gave it a shot.
The Defense just flat out played bad. But showed no improvement throughout the year and that’s in coaching also.

On the select side, the rule got changed last week. The bylaw says that high seed hosts no matter what but the LHSAA changed it last week to mirror the non-select side. That might be the source of confusion.
