BTW, I checked Eatel's YouTube page. They are livestreaming Central/Dutchtown at 1. There was no stream last night that I could find.

Dutchtown keeps finding ways to win down the stretch here.

Could have great winning awareness which is invaluable.

They won on pinch-hit single, steal 2nd, steal 3rd, score on WP 3rd strike last night.

They could have lost their last 3 playoff games but they just don't lose.

True, they got a little help last round though right? Massive blown call of batter interference. Not their fault, they didn’t make the call. To win it all you need a bounce or call to go your way at some point. Not sure which I’d rather see next round. A team that just finds a way to win, or the arm of Primeaux in a 1 game due or die.

Gotta win 1 out of 2 today to even worry about next week. Good luck to all teams today.

Landon Victorian pitched for Barbe, big time recruit and may end up as a high round draft pick out of Barbe. He was basically their 1a all season. I’m sure Guidry will throw game 2 even if not 100%, kid is a competitor. St Amant better do what they can to get game 2 and get out of LC, they start playing to win 1 out of 2 today and they’re in trouble, taking nothing away from a very good St Amant team but Barbe may be even more dangerous when they’re backed into a corner.

A lot of people say that. Tough call to make in that spot no matter what. No interference and you have a runner on 2nd with 2 outs. I think Monceaux was still on the mound and there's no guarantee they score on him. It would have been his last batter of the day.

BTW Mayers got cut as a Freshman and stayed with it! Played for Impact Baseball last 2 summers and got a lot of innings against good teams under his belt! He is just getting started. Cody Hall should be credited with Velo increases for Mayers abd Dutchtown's 2 guys Gisclair and Monceaux! He is awesome! He also worked with Primeaux at Central!

I know people who follow both STA and Dutchtown. I have no direct affiliation to the players or teams. I just like good baseball. I've seen several of their games. To me it seems like STA's best players are as good as you get and they've put up more "impressive" wins than Dutchtown in the postseason. But the Dutchtown team has fewer holes and they play with supreme confidence and teamwork. Most of their starters are seniors. It's hard to get them off their game.
