Already played. OCS won 12-2 and 5-4. Guess it will depend on who is on the mound. I have friends with kids on both teams.

Dutchtown should handle DSHS

I'm gonna go with DSHS. Playing best of 3 at Denham. I think DS has more depth in pitching. Should be some good games though.

For the last few years, Episcopal has played like a good 14U team.

Dutchtowns 1-2 punch is pretty good. Austin Bain (commit to LSU) and Evan Richardson should be able to keep Dutchtown in the game.

I don't know much about Denham, other than how they've fared against common opponents

Damn that Rummel coach doesnt seem to give a crap about his players. Seems like everytime I look he has a kid throwing 120+ pitches

The Dutchtown/Denham series will come down to timely hitting and defense. Both teams have very good starting pitchers. The games will be very close as long as the starting pitchers are in the game. The team that can manufacture runs or get the most timely hits will win the series.

They played earlier in the year and Denham won 5-2. Bain started that game but he didn't have his good stuff. Denham commited at least 5 errors in the game and Dutchtown had a couple as well, but Dutchtown could not capitalize on them and Denham did. I think the Denham starter and reliver limited Dutchtown to 2 hits.

If the defenses play relatively clean games, this should be a very good series to watch.

former Rummel coach baudry.. threw his guy 10 yesterday...

maybe that's why Rummel has two pitchers down for the count..
