1 seed U High and 3 seed Teurlings Catholic both have one loss in the quarterfinal series. Something to look for tomorrow as those finish.

I always got a laugh out of how Notre Dame pulled some strings and got the 3A championship put in Miller Stadium for all those years in the 2000s and Notre Dame never made it. Plus how their big football rival Parkview won it every time.

Whats the fascination with ND? So they got to host a baseball championship big deal.

I watched ND play in the championship in 2005 at Miller Park. What do you mean they never made it?

Sorry forgot ND made the championship once. And Parkview beat them of course. Miller hosted all those years in ND’s backyard and ND couldn’t take advantage of it.

Chalmette had a good team but it didn’t help that Chalmette’s big ol boy starting the semifinal game ran his mouth before the game about shutting Parkview out. Poor guy was so rattled during the game. He tried to pick a guy off of 2nd hand literally threw the ball halfway between 1st and 2nd and into right field.

Man you make some good posts and then some bad posts. Before I say anything else let me say Chalmette has had good baseball teams. Now when was the last time they have done anything meaningful? No disrespect. We can agree to disagree but Chalmette baseball is and has been in shambles for a while. The entire district has been. Great facility but not a great team. Curtis is the only Nola area team that has a chance of playing impressive baseball. That’s a HUGE problem for non select teams. I’m just calling it how I see it.

This is second hand but Sam Houston apparently scored 3 in the top of the 7th to go up 6-5 then held on to take the game and sweep the series.
