Oh well. Still up overall in the triple crown. Will fire again in 3 weeks in the meantime back to harness racing!!

No he took painkillers, basically.
And looked lame all week.

Seemed like a weak field of horses this year.

Now we get the filly in the Belmont.
His owners bred one of my all time favorites California flag!

$5 exacta box 5,8
I knew they weren't going to let Baffert near the winner's circle with all that's going on.
No, it's not fixed...Naaaah.

And now the belmont is worthless. Again.

Didn’t do that either.
Took a legal skin cream that every other horse in the race likely took. The amount in his blood was so microscopic that even testing it is bordering on ludicrous.
The only reason the amount of flak it’s getting is become of (deservedly) Baffert. It’s a great horse.

Except the filly will run.
And they put together one of the best cards in racing for that day.
It was worthless anyway. Baffert admitting to giving the drug means split comes back positive, so no triple crown anyway

Sweety, you don’t know horses like I do.
It’s not a legal skin cream and that’s not what he took. It’s a small dose for dog ear infections. There are plenty of things for dermatitis that don’t test. The threshold is zero in ky.
It’s sad that you believe baffert. This was a joint injection (how betamethasone is actually used in horses) and the horse looked sore all week.
I’ve worked on the backside, been married to a trainer, and been a breeder/owner. But you just keep
Buying what he says.

It is according to multiple people that I’ve seen that are horse trainers and in the sport. You clearly have an axe to grind.

When the threshold is zero it’s not legal.
It’s fine out of competition.
Still not buying the skin cream defense. His team clearly googled.
And I’d be willing to wager he was the only horse “treated” with it in the derby.
Based on it not being a common treatment and the 18 other horses coming back clean.
What are your thoughts on the rest of his positive tests? Sudden horse deaths attributed to a thyroid supplement being used to bulk up horses with no thyroid issues?
I guess I do have an ax to grind based on baffert being bad for racing

I said the same thing when the news broke Sunday about the bad test. He injected to close to the race and got caught and blamed it on the cream.
