It's certainly possible, but he's got a lot of work to do.

Wrong again, peej. If he plays to 35 he'll be borderline first ballot. Hope you're still kicking when it happens to see another one of your predictions fail

He is the ULTIMATE LOSER.... He will never sniff A SB again............. Eli doesn't belong in the HOF but will get in way before Cam will.................

The ultimate loser who's accomplished more with the Panthers shitty offense than anybody else in the league is capable of

How many times in a row has Brees been able to win the South in NO? I'll give you a hint, not as many as Cam has

dukke calling someone else a loser.

I think he's got a good shot if he can get his rushing stats up. He'll be hard to ignore if he ends up top 20 in rushing TDs. He's not going to get in with his passing.

His injuries are already affecting his play. Because he’s a dual threat (also takes more hits leading to a higher injury chance because of that) he relies on his legs more so than most QBs, and he’s not going to be able to do that the older he gets. He isn’t really the greatest passer either.

Could he be a HOFer? Sure. But right now it’s too early to say for certain.

This point really works against you. Because all I can think is man, imagine if Brees had had some of the defenses Cam has been blessed with

Imagine if Cam had the offensive coaching and system Drew has been blessed with.

He still wouldn't be as good as Brees, so...imagine what exactly?

Point is Brees has zero impact how historically bad his defenses have been. So trying to fault him for seasons in which he threw for 5000+ yards and 40 TDs meanwhile his defense gave up the most yards in NFL history so they won 7 games doesn’t make sense.

Here's where Cam stacks up against this generation's HOF candidates in yards/game (passing and rushing) and TDs/game (passing and rushing).

Something that jumped out to me, Philip Rivers has played in 212 games and has 3 rushing TDs.

He would not be any better.. He still would have backed away from the fumble in the SB with the game on the line...........

Even the year they won the Lombardi they had like the 29th ranked defense in yards. They just forced a ton of opportunistic turnover

Meanwhile Can has one of the best defenses in the league and can hardly get it done as a game manager
