You can use him getting a JUCO QB to play for him at Kansas in year 1 as your evidence if you want, but that’s illogical.

Recruiting a decent QB to a 2 win Kansas team for a coach in his first year is pretty impressive. I think that's perfectly logical.

Wow, Les is getting all of those three star players.

He is going to coach them up and turn them into 4 and 5 star players.

You mean like Jacob Hester?

Les has never been an X and O coach but he knows college football. Kansas is going to be a bowl team soon...that is saying something. I am not sure why some of these other teams didn't give him a shot. He will at least give your program a shot in the arm.

3rd pro style QB.

Glad he’s not still trying to use running qbs in that pro style offense.

The other b12 team have 19 or 20 commits.

2019 is a lost year for les and Kansas and pooka is in suspension.

This is an epic embarrassment to anyone who respects the SEC, a damn KU fricking thread on an SEC forum. Delete or anchor this POS!

MacVittie 6'5" 230 lb throws well, runs fast, and scrambles well. Looks like Mett with wheels. In 6 games he had 16 TDs Passing and 4 Rushing. Is he the DTQB Miles and OC Chip Lindsey are looking for? IDK. Stud Nick Marshall was a Juco #3 QB, 3 star.

UCF has 3 Stars? #56 in Roster talent 25-0 UCF is a bunch of 2-3 stars who play on a 5 star TEAM FWIW.

Chancellor Girod, Jeff Long, Les Miles & his Staff will probably have weekly dinners. Shared vision, chemistry brought them together and attracted top assistants in less than 2 weeks. That is a lot of positive energy.

Long, Miles, and Chancellor Girod are "hellbent" on turning Kansas into a Championship team. Miles would have never gone there if it wasn't for Long, the well-respected first Chairman of the CFP, and longtime friend. Long would not have gone there without the Chancellor being all in with the "Break the Cycle" fund and financial commitment to hire first class assistants, analysts, and improve facilities. Long, a former QB from Michigan, praised Chancellor Girod, commenting that all 3 men have the same vision necessary to attract recruits and to build a winning program. Those commitments were the foundation.

Girod is a smart man who understands the "Flutie & Saban" effect - success is growth. Girod also knows how to explain the simple fact that salaries, facilities & associated financial investments are paid out of the Athletic Booster funds and not the KU budget.

For all these good men and many other reasons I want them to rebuild that program that was home to Gayle Sayers and John Riggins. I want to see Les go out on top.

I hope he does well, but as an LSU fan it's going to be bittersweet if he changes his offensive philosophy & makes Kansas into something.
