The only reason this even matters

Durant made 0 FG's and didn't score a single point after the 5 min mark tonight.

The difference? His team won, so its a moot point

since when in any profession is it okay to blame your lack production on the people you work with?

if you don't get it done, expect criticism.

Miami may not win the title this year, but I'm convinced that LeBron haters, yourself included are the biggest morons in the sports world.

Just like the people that claimed Peyton couldn't win the big one.

Or Elway couldn't win the big one.

Or that Kobe couldn't win without Shaq.

etc...

History has shown time and time again that you people are morons. It may be 2 years from now or it may be 5 but I have no doubt that all of the haters and doubters will all look like morons. Then when LeBron has 3 rings you'll all forget that you were ever such morons because that's what morons do. Deny that they were ever morons to begin with. And they may actually have a short enough memory to genuinely believe it.

Well basketball is a TEAM sport, so you do have to rely on your teammates.

I haven't seen Lebron once blame another player or one of his coaches for the teams downfall.

when you work in a team, it happens

if my coverage guy fricks up, or my associate fricks up research, or if my expert misrepresents things, it can frick up the whole case

this is true. And I commend him for that.

Kobe has done it a thousand times and it kills me when he does. This is coming from a Kobe fan.

I'd say it is always appropriate if it is the truth. Do you expect ULM to win the BCS next year?

no doubt. and I'm sure that's frustrating for him or anyone in that situation.

But he's playing with two players that have what 12-15 combined All-star appearances. And despite what some say his role players aren't chumps.

And again despite what some say about his Cavs teams, they weren't chumps either. His team around him helped the Cavs have the best record in the league for what 2 years?

so now Chalmers, Battier, Haslem, Miller, and Jones are on the talent level of ULM?

They aren't chumps normally, but have been playing like it.

They then turned around and had the worst record in the league after he left. They couldn't have been THAT good.

So if all of these other players are so awesome then why is it a big deal if he dishes them the ball on a drive with 4 minutes to go in the 4th?

One of whom has been injured.

The other has been a complete non-factor in the 1st half of every game in this series.

He has consistently had 1 guy step up (never the same guy), while the other 3 on the floor take up space.

5 Celtics would have finished 3rd in scoring for the Heat last night.

Or Malone & Stockton.

Or Barry Bonds.

Or Dan Marino.

Or Barry Sanders, Ted Williams, Elgin Baylor, Barkley, etc.

Assuming Lebron wins a ring is stupid right now. Especially when OKC has a better assembled team and coach.

I'm tired. I can no longer troll LeBron threads for the day.

I will leave with this.

I am super excited for tomorrow night. Game 6. The Garden. Celtics vs Heat.

Not to see LeBron fail. Not at all.

I'd love to see him come out and light it up, then quiet me and the other doubters in the 4th by single handedly closing the game. I truly do want to see him just explode with this nasty streak, emotion, and unquestionable dominance when it matters most.

I truly enjoy seeing any great in that type of zone. Whether tomorrow it be LBJ, Wade, Pierce, Rondo, or KG.

Right. But how many of those people were accused of not being clutch? How many of them had their stats meticulously broken down after every single game?

LeBron is under a much different microscope right now than most HOF type players have ever been under.

And everyone made excuses for those guys as well.

Marino got a pass for never having a great running game

Sanders got a pass for never being paired with a great O line and QB

Baseball players tend to get a pass because the game is dominated by pitchers and it's a game for stats nerds and not for real sports fans. No one cares who wins.

Stockton and Malone got a pass because even though everyone knew they were great no one expected them to beat the powers of the time.

I wouldn't be shocked to see LeBron get multiple rings. He still has a good 8 years and he's going to eventually get it all figured out.

I am not even a fan of his. . .tbh. I just don't get the hate for the man. Seems like a good person.

Never gets in trouble, always talks up his teammates, doesn't rape hotel workers. . .

I'm still looking for a team/player to pull for.

Shaq used to be my player. The league just hated Shaq. Every year in the 2000's, it seemed there was a new rule geared towards limiting his impact.

By the time Shaq got to Cleveland, I didn't care anymore.

The Heat/Indiana series invigorated me. Good physical hard-nosed basketball.

The Heat/Celtics series is losing me. Probably the least physical series I have ever witnessed.
