Westbrook = 2 points in the last 5 minutes
Durant = 0 in the last 5 minutes.
Westbrook has more heart and loves the game more than Durant

bullshite SFP, no one hated LBJ before he was drafted. People were enammered by him and beyond excited to see him play in the NBA.

That's not including the fact that Durant and Lebron have very different games, and Lebron plays one way for 3 quarters then changes his game only in the 4th and becomes almost non-existent.
It's not a changing slide; it's multiple branches of the same issue. He gets scared late in games.
It's not hating LeBron, it's not wanting him to fail, its backed up by facts.
- he's averaging 3 less points in the 4th quarter than other quarters (reg. season, don't know about PS, probably less than that)
- he's shooting 25% in the 4th quarter
- its not like he's facilitating and getting his teammates good shots, he's mostly just not touching the ball

i've been getting into arguments about lebron well before he was in miami. he got a ton of shite for getting swept in the finals that one year, for example. SCH hates him b/c of the old cavs-wizards rivalry (when he got the nickname "LeWalk")
you forget the "Crab dribble" era?

Think that's why he didnt include the Tattoo, He was hated on for not closing for the 2 seasons before he left cleveland.
ETA: the "quit" game against the C's or Orlando and had a triple double.

It's just basic herd mentality.
They hear a meme, believe the meme, then ignore all evidence to the contrary of the meme.
The meme becomes the truth to them.
Those that disagree with the meme baffle them, because they never considered thinking for themselves.
Or they are Cleveland/Kobe fans.
quote:
You prove your point, they move their debate to another point. . .then they exaggerate that point for comedic effect and high fives.
I broke it down last night.
Lebron passes to the open man for a game winning shot? He should have taken the shot ==> He is scared to shoot the clutch shot
Lebron scores a 3 to tie the game and send it to OT? He only scored 4 points in the 4th ==> He only plays for 3 quarters.
Lebron scores 9 in the 4th, including a late drive to get the game back to within 2? He didn't score every minute of the 4th ==> He disappears for stretches in the 4th.
The problem is, their argument is fueled by emotion. Using logic to combat emotion. . .well that's like arguing with a liberal. . .or a woman. . .or both.
You can't combat an irrational mind with reason.

You must not have watched the playoffs last year, or every game of this series besides game 4.
Durant wasn't anywhere close to being as passive as Lebron last year. This year Durant has hit 3 shots in the playoffs with under 20 seconds to give his team the lead. He was great closing out games against LA and Dallas. He was great in game 4 against the Spurs. You can start questioning him when he goes 4 straight years quitting on his team or consistently disappearing in tight situations.

They said he couldn't play defense for the longest time.
Then he became an All-League defender. . .That's when the clutch talk began.

Why are u making excuses for him? People love to compare him to MJ and the correct answer for MJ would be that he would score 40 if need be for the Bulls to win.
That's the difference in them two. MJ would do whatever it took to win, Lebron not so much.
Yeah. Except you couldn't run zone when MJ played.
It's a different game now.

He disappeared for 8 minutes in the 4th quarter of a close game that his team lost at home to a slow, injured. tired, old Celtics team (outside of Rondo) that he could, and should be dominating in the 4th quarter.
He's the best physical specimen in league history, he is unstoppable when he drives the paint. He does it for 3 quarters then stops in the 4th

Nah I remember.
Let's paint this another way.
You're a lawyer/law student right SFP?
Let's say your working at a smaller firm, but absolutely killing it. Your name explodes. No one can question your talent or potential.
You feel like a big fish in a small pond, naturally.
You not only leave the smaller firm, but you publicly rub it in their faces when you leave for the big city well known firm to finally release your endless potential.
You get to the new firm. You walk I'm day one and promise them the world. Let's say a flawless case record and endless awards. Everyone is excited to just be at the same firm as you.
You undoubtedly bring, case by case, and dominate your profession but you don't live up to what you promised.
Are you personally not held accountable for not delivering, not living up to what you promised?
clearly I don't know jack shite about what lawyers do, but...
In any profession of you don't live up to your hype, your payroll, your promises....what happens?
criticism. doubt. hate.
