quote:

"The only reason I could say he's not on a team is because the way he took a knee," James said. "That's the only reason. I watch football every Sunday, every Thursday, every Monday night. I see all these quarterbacks -- first-string, second-team, third-team quarterbacks -- that play sometimes when the starter gets hurt or are starters that play. Kap is better than a lot of those guys. Let's just be honest."

Man. Lebron has a lot to say for someone who may be borderline illiterate.

I cannot stand how everyone is incorrectly using the word blackballed.

He was obviously almost picked up by the Ravens until his gf called Steve Biscotti a slave owner and mocked the Ravens lionized franchise player. That by itself says he wasn't blackballed.

I mean he brought it on himself because teams don't want to deal with the media circus that comes with signing him .. not because they don't like his stance. That's just ignorant

Fwiw, I don't believe the "we were about to sign him but then he said all that dumb shite" story.

That was from Ray Lewis right?

He was so angry he couldn't leave high school after his sophmore year to enter the NBA draft.

Dude didn't even want a 12th grade education.

Hell, he'd probably have entered the draft after 8th grade if he could. Time to get paid. Worked out - he's rich.

But nobody should be taking political, historical or world advice from him.

Kaepernick protests and the NFL owners counter-protested by not hiring him. Is he good enough to be at least a backup? Yea, probably. But he isn't good enough to warrant signing his baggage as well.

Would Lebron waste his time on this issue if Kap was white? Good old tribalism strikes again.

Why doesn't he have the balls to just come out and say WHITE quarterbacks?
