Those Miami Heat teams and the early Cavs teams had no depth to speak of.

Agree on the early Cavs teams.

The Heatles strength was never their bench (that's what eventually did them in in the 2014 Finals tbh), but it didn't necessarily need to be, either, given their competition in that conference.

Still it was a solid enough supporting cast in Miami.

Still haven't.

I'm listening to GoT on audible right now.

The movie is good. Surprisingly really funny.

So minutes played equates to greatness?
Well I have no idea how you even came to that conclusion regarding my post, but great players usually play more minutes. My point was that at 32 he has so many more miles on the basketball court.

For example, they began tracking distance in the NBA during the 2013-2014 season. In that time, LeBron has been on the court for 14,328 minutes regular season and playoffs combined. He has covered 907.4 miles in that time.

So at that rate, he's will have covered a total distance of 3,213 miles and 1,214 more miles in the NBA than MJ at the same age, that's equivalent to about 123 and 47 marathons.

I'm being patient and waiting for the TV series to finish before I listen to the books (yes, I know the tv show is now completely off the reservation from the book standpoint).

That's what I've heard. Glad they went that route. The book got into some damn dark shite. Made for a compelling story, though.

Well I see why you went to A&M and not UM like your mother. Apparently being able to read is optional at A&M.

But in all seriousness, given that the TV series is way beyond the books, it wouldn't spoil anything read them. That being said, given Martin's writing pace at this point, I don't blame anybody for holding off since the next book probably won't come out for another decade at this rate.

Comparing apples to oranges. The game is more sped up now with these fast paced transition offenses. In the 80's and 90's teams not named the Lakers used a half court offense.

I said last year this would be the season LeBron really begins to show signs of slowing down. He would still be top 10, but he would be surpassed as the world's greatest ball player.

I see now that was a terrible take

He must have had a cortisone shot. We used to give those to my 15 year old lab, once a month, when he couldn't walk anymore.

They only worked for a year ,then we had to put him down. I suspect the same thing will happen to Lebron.

I obviously don’t know the distance anybody covered before 2013-2014, so I was just using the avaiokable data to highlight the mileage.

But In regards to pace, are you just making stuff up. Because you're completly incorrect. Other than late in his career, we teams tried to go ISO ball, largely because of MJ’s success, he played in a much faster pace league.

NBA League Averages

In MJ's 15 seasons the average pace was about 96.1, whereas over the last 15 designs rbe average pace has been about 93. In addition, the current season is the fastest pace in a few decades at 99. The pace was faster in 5 MJ's seasons.

So maybe you need start over and study the objective facts before arguing something that has no objective basis.

No.. You are young and stupid and never saw MJ at his peak.... MJ =6-0 in the Finals... Enough said.....

I don't care that Bron scored 57 points tomight....That means VERY LITTLE in the grand scheme of things........

Consistently amused that Lebron somehow gets punished for being good enough to skip college in these comparisons?

Keep spinning Nostalgics, the record player is almost broken
