LeBron James is only responsible for 1 NBA Finals Defeat

2007: Led Cavs to Finals at age 22 (Younger than Joe Burrow) with Boobie Gibson as his starting PG and got swept by Big 3 Spurs in their prime.
2011: Played bad and lost to the Mavs in his first year with the Heat (ONLY FINALS DEFEAT LEBRON IS RESPONSIBLE FOR)
2012: Beat Big 3 Thunder for first ring. Won Finals MVP
2013: Beat Big 3 Spurs for Repeat Ring. Won Finals MVP for second time
2014: Lost to Big 3 Spurs + Kawhi in a series where he torched Kawhi on offense but DWade and Bosh were old and hurt. Averaged 28 per game and shot over 50% from the field and from 3.
2015: Went to Finals with Matthew Dellevadova as his starting PG and Timofey Mozgov (Who?) as his second best player. Averaged nearly a 30 point triple double and won two games in the hardest arena to win in Basketball (Oracle) before falling to MVP Steph and Co.
2016: Led Greatest Comeback in NBA Finals History. Led the Finals IN EVERY STAT (Points, Rebounds, Assists, Steals, Blocks), Beat History's only 73-9 team in 7 games
2017: Lost to the greatest Non-Olympic basketball team of all-time. Kyrie didn't show up until Game 3. Love didn't show up at all. LeBron still averaged a triple double
2018: Lost again to the greatest Non-Olympic team of all time. No Kyrie. Love still a no show. Had 50 in Game 1 but JR Smith was off his meds. Averaged 34 Points 10 assists and 8.5 Rebounds per game. =

This is correct.
The Heat should have won in 2011 and LeBron was subpar. The Cavs should have lost in 2016 when LeBron was great.
Every other series, the better team won.

What's the point of this thread? Even Lebron fans aren't trying to say that he doesn't deserve responsibility for his Finals losses. He's the best player, he is responsible for all of them.
What's impressive to me is that he did beat historically great teams. I judge a player by his best wins.

IMO this was more notable than any of his finals wins outside of 2016

Jordan never was able to elevate a team that was not the best to the finals. Ever. 1st rd sweeps galore.
Jordan was responsible for the loss in the ECF in 89. He disappeared in the pivotal game 5. He only scored 18 pts in 46 minutes. (10 pts off free throws) only had 8 attempts in in 46 mins. He quit on his team.
It was similar to when Kobe quit in that Phoenix series that everyone magically forgets when they talk about their killer mentality.

Lebron is my favorite non Pel and I've had enough of the Bron vs Jordan talk. There is no legit reason for anyone choosing Lebron over MJ.
- Lebron lost to a Dallas team with Dirk, out of prime Kidd, out of prime Marion, out of prime Chandler, Jason Terry and JJ Barea who is the size of a horse jockey. He straight up didn't show up.
- He was very, very fortunate in 2 of those finals wins. Ray Allen hit one of the all time shots in finals history, otherwise it's another finals loss. Beating GS was great, but lets not forget how fortunate he was that Draymond had the suspension. That completely flipped the series.

I'm not typically a Kobe defender, but I'll submit that he did not quit, but was certainly trying to prove a point. Probably still a bitch move at best.

Golden state was not historically great When they played the cavs. That version of the team was a far cry from the one that won 73.
