Jerry West practically gave Gasol to the Lakers.

A. This does nothing to refute my point. Unless you think Jerry West still suits up for the Lakers.
B. The Lakers gave up Marc Gasol (a legit 15/10 player with a high ceiling, multiple first round draft picks, and their back up pg/sg.

He knew he couldn't live up to the expectations of being the "chosen one" for Cleveland and peaced out. Coward.

One of the most lobsided trades in league history isn't a bit fishy when the GM is a hof'er for the other team?

I'm not bashing him for LEAVING. I'm bashing him because he didn't claim a team like Chicago to be his own. Instead, he'd rather "gang up" like a coward.

Marc Gasol, one of the best big men in the game with a huge upside + 2 First round draft choices and Crittenton for Pau Gasol is not one of the most "lopsided trades in league history".

First, session A is almost over. Second, Lebron reminds me of that kid on the playground that see's his friends winning a fight and then runs and jumps in so they can gang up on the dude who was down. Hence, why he is being viewed as a coward. Chicago would have been WAY over the top with him as the alpha dog, but he shied away from it. He shied away from the challenge of carrying a team.

wasn't that lopsided.

It's no different than the KG for Al Jefferson trade.

Al jefferson vs. Marc Gasol - similar players now, but the 7 footer (Gasol) has a higher ceiling.

How many other 7-1 265 pound big men average 15/10 on 58% shooting? The list is short.

So what would you call his past 7yrs in Cleveland?? They annointed him the KING that you claim he can't be..... Your analogy is a FAIL. You are a Laker fan....end of discussion... I feel like I'm having a pissing contest with a lazy democrat.

A failure. A betrayal.

He anointed himself that chief. Unless you forgot about his CHOSEN 1 tattoo across his back.

My analogy is a FACT. Lebron was pretty much a lock for LEADING a team to a ring in Chicago, but apparently he was to scared to try because he was afraid he'd fail again.

Nice

Take your Lakers glasses off for one second and have some very basic real life prespective.

Your a young energetic wipper-snapper (sp?) that has spent 7 yrs at your current job that has basically peaked. You are getting tired of the same old scene in the same old town. You have built your resume up and have the experience to take your career to the next level. So you put your resume on "The ladders". 6 very successful companies really want to hire you and all said companies are pitching all of the great business models and long term plans on how:

will fit into this great plan and how you will move up and even get a heafty share of company stock. Well, after alot of deliberation, you decide to take a job offer, not the one that is offering the most money, but with the one that is the best fit for your situation. Better town or city, better economy, more things to do, closer to family & friends,etc... so what would you do??

Just curious... but wait.. forget about it... it's just sports...not the real world.....

I never said he should stay in Cleveland. I said he should have went to Chicago. For the record, he is closer to family there.

Give me a break.

You're out of your mind if you would chose Chicago.
