The West appears to he better this year than the previous 3 years, and significantly better than 2017-2018 and 2015-2016.

Here is average adjusted net rating of the West teams over the last 4 years.

2018-2019 +1.30
2017-2018 +0.51
2016-2017 +1.08
2015-2016 +0.40

That quote shows how narcissistic he can be. This point is easy to explain. Behold the edit:

quote:

Yes, LeBron James noticed all the big deadline-day deals in the East. “Everybody in the East thinks they can get to the Finals because they ain’t gotta go through me, Wade, Bosh, Kyrie, Ray Allen, Kevin Love, Tristian Thompson, Kyle Kover, Derrick Rose, Isaiah Thomas, Jordan Clarkson, Zydrunas Ilgauskas , Deron Williams, Rashard Lewis, Juwan Howard, Jamaal Magloire, Mo Williams, Shawn Marion , Antawn Jamison, Larry Hughes, Mario Chambers, Anderson Varejao, and old man Shaq" he told @joevardon and, well, he's not wrong.

The dude was on super-stacked teams for 95% of that run and the proof is in the pudding as he is meddling trying to Super-team the Lakers.

The east didn’t have to just go through “him”. They had to go through “them”.

You would have had a point until last year

When the Cavs still made the finals last year, it showed the east simply couldn’t beat Lebron

And what great teams with superstars did he beat in the east playoffs? Oladipo and Demar Derozan? Oh boy.

Hell a team without its top two players took him to 7. If Kyrie or Heyward play in that series, if’s over in 6. If they both played, it’s a sweep.

He did more long term harm to that franchise than short term good. They can’t even still celebrate that title because they know it wasn’t genuine and he set them back at least 4-5 years on the way out the door.

Uh. What?

Last year may have been the deepest team (bench wise and experience wise) Lebron has ever played with.

Lebron
Love
Wade
Rose
Thomas
Kover
Thompson
Frye
Clarkson
Kendrick Perkins
J.R. Smith
Nance

That team is LOADED with experience and depth relative to a cake walk east.

They coasted because of age factors last year and turned up the heat at the end of the season

You already aren’t listening - I stated RELATIVE to the East last year.

Who exactly did they beat in the EC playoffs last year that equaled their talent/experience?

The Celtics took them seven games without their two best players due to injuries.

If the Celtics were healthy, they sweep the Cavs. Based on the players the Cavs actually competed against in the playoffs, the Cavs were stacked.

I mean he's not wrong, but I also think there are a couple of teams who were capable of beating him this year.

And the West is laughing at him because the only teams that need to go through LeBron are the ones fighting for an 8 seed.

Hell, the 8 seed may not even have to go through him.

I just have to ask..

You realize Lebron has missed a month, right? And you know the Lakers are truly pitiful without him, right? And he has played over 45,000 minutes in the league which is more than MJ's pro and college career combined, right?

What does Jordan have to do with this?

But sure, if he hadnt missed a month LA would take the 1 seed without even breaking a sweat.

They were projected to go 7-8

They were playing as 4 seed until injury

So exceeding league xpectations

Just giving you context to show you how many miles the guy has on his legs. You should feel dumb for expecting someone with over 45,000 minutes to dominate this conference. He was also the 4 seed and the Lakers were pretty nice when he was healthy.

Nobody said that.
