I enjoy watching lebron because of his athleticism. Curry having a 3 point contest each game gets boring

you actually showed one of the worst possible ways to settle it. Taking away things from players leaves you comparing imaginary players it's pointless.

Oh and LOL at Rondo has better handles.

Take away Steph Curry scoring and ability and what do you have? An average atheltic pg with no defense.

He's still an excellent ball handler with superb vision. He plays a lot off the ball too, which is why he doesn't get "traditional" PG numbers (20 pts, 10 asts). Offenses have evolved. Your PG doesn't have to be the guy initiating every play on the court.

quote:

Take away Lebron's scoring ability what do you have? A superior atheltic lockdown defender/ point foward . Lebron is the better all around player.

While I do agree with most of this, part of Lebron being Lebron IS his athletic ability. If you were just to "take away" what they're most elite at, they'd become totally different players. I had Knee surgery years ago and din't recover right. I went from a slasher/scorer type to a shooter facilitator when I play at the gym now. If Curry couldn't do what he does now at an elite level, he'd do something else. These guys aren't MVP's because of ONE skill (or physical in LBJ's case) trait. Marginal NBA players are elite at one thing (or good/decent when compared to their peers) and lacking everywhere else.

Besides, that whole argument is stupid. MJ was never a sharpshooter, what if you took away his ability to get in the lane? Or what if Shaq was 6'5" instead of 7'1"? What if your Aunt was your uncle?

You got to 1 Finals in your first 7 seasons and was swept. You teamed with Wade and Bosh, and even during his crippled years Wade won you the first championship you got, you played better the next one but if it weren't for Ray Allen you wouldn't have it. Even still you go 2-2 in Miami and skip town.

LeBron STARTED that comeback against the Spurs in Game 6. No way Ray Allen hit a clutch 3?!? He's done that his whole career. That was his sole purpose in Miami: hit threes in big games. And LOL at Wade winning Lebron's first title.

quote:

Reach the Finals in Cleveland again, and while you were the dominant player on the floor scoring wise, your TEAM still got beat 4-2.

I like how you emphasize team by making it all caps but then blame the loss.

Chicken must be hurting for money, you rantards are making your way over to the MSB more often than not.

Rondo has better handles, defense, and passing. You're letting deep shooting ability blind you from what a real pg is and does. Once again it showed against th

Curry plays ok defense too, but that is at least arguable.

He started the comeback yes, did he finish it no, like he always does, he passed the buck at the end, cause reason number 2. NO CLUTCH, EVER.

Wade did win his first title, go back and look at it, Lebron played a very mediocre series against the Thunder, Wade was the consistent one that year and their entire 4 years together.

I emphasize TEAM because while you were putting up 40 that your TEAM still lost, to a TEAM who played TEAM ball, rather than try to be the solo hero. Even if their stars were hurt like yours, the ball would have moved, all the parts, no matter who would have been on the floor would have been adding to game. You tried to score sooooo much cause you felt your TEAM, (as it was with injuries), couldn't help you. Reason #3, you aren't the leader ON or OFF the Floor, you should be or portrayed yourself to be. Last few weeks that's come to even more light. Anybody unbiased could see he's selfish and spotlight hungry LONNNNNNNGGGGG AGO.

U not anywhere near as high on km Thompson as most here seem to be . Any other team he's a borderline all star. He's basically eddie Jones with a better stroje, which is no bad bit he's not a great player by himself

The Warriors ate 2 and 6 since 2014 when curry doesn't play and had to go to overtime and then hit a lucky arse fall away . From green to beat the hawks at home with our curry this year and thomoson was

8 for 27

Let me repeat that lol

Eight for fricking twenty seven

Great player my arse

This is against the nets where they lost. That guy who lebron is pissed that hit the shot on the other side of the floor is his man lol.

Not only can he not stay I front of his man snymire, he gets pissed at his team mates when they don't cover his old arse

He had a bad game therefore he sucks lol. The Warriors have won more than they have lost without Curry this year. Please explain to me how Klay hitting a pull-up 30+ footer in their last game is because of Steph lol. This is also discounting his phenomenal mid range, driving, and post up game. Klay is a phenomenal player and an integral part of the Warriors' success.

They are 2 and 6 since 2014 without curry pi not saying he sucks. G0 he's one of the best defenders in the league, he can shoot the shite out of the ball, but he has trouble creating his own shot /driving lanes when curry isn't there to space out the floor

Klay can absolutely create his own shot, not the way Curry can from the perimeter, but he's no scrub. Klay is a phenomenal driver.

He didn't pass the ball. He missed a 3. Bosh got the rebound and passed it to Allen.

Lebron averaged 28.6\10.2\7.4 against OKC on 47% shooting. His worst scoring game was 26 pts. Very mediocre indeed.

Dwyane Wade averaged 22.6\6\5.2 on 43% shooting. A much better series as you can see.

quote:

Wade was the consistent one that year and their entire 4 years together.

Dwyane wade was very consistent in their first year. After that one could say he was somewhat inconsistent because he continually missed a large amount of games. One of the main reasons LeBron left is bc he had to do to much due to injuries to D Wade and him continually missing 20%+ of the regular season.

In the year you said he was the most consistent he actually missed 17 games. When accounting for the fact that their was only 66 regular season games that year it comes out to almost 30% of the games. The next year he missed 13. And finally in LeBron's last year D Wade missed 28 games. Almost 40% of the Heat's regular season games.

So yeah. You're totally right. A model of consistency I tell you.
