He isnt as competitive and doesn't have the killer instinct that MJ possessed. Jordan was the perfect storm. People have already forgotten his freakish athleticism. Lebron is great...will probably end up #2 or 3 all-time, but this is the same guy who was owned by Shawn Marion and Jason Terry in the NBA finals and who quit on his team vs Orlando the year before. He is not better than MJ was.

I mean a 5 on 5 game with them primarily matched against one another.

Since it is a team game, I would think the guy that is a better passer, defender, and rebounder gets the nod anyway

You realize that most people who post on the MSB are in their 20s and 30s and have watched both play?

False....wait, are we playing True or False?

Lebron has great game the night before. Poster dreams of taking LeBron deep in the back of his throat. wakes up next day, starts a Lebron thread telling everyone they are wrong if Lebron isn't GOAT. ignorance at it's finest.

MJ retired when I was a sophomore in HS. Lebron came into the league in my early 20s. As talented as Lebron is, I just don't see him as ever being as good as MJ was in his prime. People forget just how dominant Magic was too since he is a fat goofball now. I would take Magic in his prime over Lebron but if Lebron continues to develop as a leader / winner that will change.

The thread has already been started by another high school kid. But congrats, you'll get a dozen pages.

Not a high school kid, have watched both play about equal amounts. Never said MJ wasn't a freak athlete. I'm just not naive enough to think nobody can ever be better than MJ, Lebron is better. I love how the biggest argument people have is you don't remember MJ. I rember him very well; he was amazing, Lebron is better.

Obviously. I think people act like his athleticism was better than Jordan's...almost like MJ was just some overachiever with heart...dude was one of the most athletic players in any sport.

A. Nobody forgets how dominant Magic was
B. like I said if you don't realize it now you're just behind, it's ok you'll realize it eventually like you said

Jordan was probably a sociopath. That's what made him great. LeBron doesn't have that. But it makes LeBron more likeable and probably the better person.

I would honestly love to see Lebron (or D-Wade for that matter) drive into the lane and try to finish against the Bad Boy Pistons (Laimbeer, Mahorn, etc) or even the Knicks (Ewing, Mason, Oakley) for that matter. I honestly think they would cry on the court. I genuinely believe that.
