Playing like the fifth best player on the court right now offensively. Defense has been nice though

GW shot and then seals it with lockdown D on last possession.

Cute thread though

Okay? I said he was playing great D but offensively he was one of the worst shooters on the court tonight.

Been 3 years since he was the best player in the L

Reminds me of the ones who still say Aaron rodgers is the best QB in the league. Hard for some to move on for sure.

No way. And that don’t have anything to do with the player he is today anyways.

Right.

That's usually the first thing to go with age.

Imagine believing this to actually be true.

LeBron became the best player in basketball somewhere between 2007 to 2010 and lasted until 2015- 2017. Either way, thats a long fricking time to remain the alpha player. He was not the best player in the league before then. Top 3-5? Absolutely...& hes a top 5 player today. Which adds up to one of the greatest players ever.

Anthony Davis, imo, is probably their most important player most nights.

If AD is on like he was tonight, the Lakers might roll to the title.

True, but Jordan would have gone for 45.

AD carried them but LeBron’s a dangerous player on the court even if he doesn’t get the ball, he’s like Larry Bird or Michael Jordan in that respect although eminently less likable

But would’ve converted on the biggest shots of the game, Kobe’s an enigma when it comes to being a leader of men because he sure wasn’t that in the 2004 Finals, 2006 playoffs game 7, and the entire 2008 Finals, like the girl with the curl when he was good he was jaw droppingly good, when bad, horrid

During the late 2000s he and Kobe were basically tied as best player with a CP3 cameo in 2008 as everyone wanted a Kobe-LeBron duel in the Finals which never happened (LeBron melting down at the worst moments in those playoffs), he fully grabbed the conch of unequivocal best player when he started playing for the Heat and solidified it with his first ring coinciding with Kobe’s decline as well
