I'm as big a fan as there is, but he can't match that intensity like he used to and his lateral movement isn't the same.

He's not "saving himself" either. It's just not there anymore

It would be nice if JR could score a point.

This isn't new news, however I'm pumped to see him elevate the defensive intensity come playoff time will be a sight to behold

It hasn’t been pretty, IT going 0-10 as well. Raptors without Lowry and Ibaka as well

How many games have to be “thrown in the trash” this year?

They have a real problem with interior defense

The LeBron defense narrative: started out raw and bad at defense, improved himself from that standpoint during the middle of his career(basically to the point where he earned 6 consecutive All-Defense honors), and is now settling to mediocre to average defense in the regular season and then elevating the defensive intensity to an extent come playoff time, basically rinse-repeat with him currently, it's that simple

It's a problem if this is the case in the playoffs or if he's not in a playoff picture.

G hardens MVP case actually got stronger while he was out because of the way cavs have played lately. Idk if being out w injury has ever strengthened a players case before.

Not sure why you say that.

He's turned it up a notch in crunch time this season like he normally does and is stills great.

He just doesn't do it often in the regular season and hasn't for quite some time now.
