Strong straw man there.
But even taking your example, the same logic would still apply. No one thinks gang members are okay, they do plenty of deplorable things.
Even if they perform racially motivated crimes, it’s a completely different dynamic than when a regular every day citizen or police officer kills someone that appears to be racially motivated.
If you can’t see the difference between the two, I don’t know what else to say

I smell a fake hate crime coming his way.

What really sucks is the comments man
A bunch of people applauding him for using his platform and “talking his shite”
This dude who was gunned down while jogging is lost in the shuffle of all these self-righteous assholes trying to out-react each other
What happened was awful and those clowns who killed him should be in prison, why not just let it be that? Why not focus on his tragedy and hope for HIS justice?
Why make these broad sweeping disingenuous statements that just incite people?

Do you think a person that lives in a 50+ million dollar house. One of a few by the way. Actually gives a single shite about a random killing?
LeBron did not spend anymore time caring about this than it took to type out a tweet.
Its embarrassing

So we know that gangs are bad and that is not worth talking about because we know it
And we have been talking about this "racism" for 160 years but that is not known even though it is all we talk about?
I am not following.
It’s not hard to follow but I’ll break it down more.
Gangs are bad. Everyone agrees they’re bad. Gangs exist. Everyone agrees they exist. No need for discussion
Racism is bad. Everyone agrees it’s bad. Racism exists. Not everyone agrees it exists, or they try to downplay its impact on our country.
See the distinction between the two?
It’s important to talk about these things when they happen, and spread awareness, because of the fact we all agree racism is bad. If we can get more people to accept that racism exists and take it more seriously then perhaps we can transition that into actions that bring positive change.

This is different. It’s an innocent black man dying because, well, he’s black.
But LeBron and people like him are acting like this happens all the time. It doesn't. It happens from time to time on rare occasions.
Also, from the little bit I read, he wasn't confronted because he's black. He was confronted because there have been break-ins and these two guys said they spotted him on camera scoping out houses and looking in windows... kind of like the Trayvon Martin situation. One guy got out of the truck with a shotgun, Ahmaud Arbrey started fighting with him over the gun, and the other guy shot him.
Now, maybe those two guys totally lied about their motive. Maybe Arbrey wasn't even doing what he was accused of doing. Maybe those guys should have left it up to the police instead of trying to take matters into their own hands.
Who knows. But unless there is proof they just went out to hunt a black guy because of his race, you shouldn't be saying it like it's a fact.
Those two guys acted like absolute morons. But there isn't any evidence it was a hate crime. I mean, if they were just going out to kill this guy, there wouldn't have been a fight over the gun. They would have just shot him. He wasn't shot until after the fighting over the gun.

LeBron is gonna get some more racist graffiti on his gate tonight

Yet nothing on his twitter about the 2 blacks shot, 1 killed in St.Louis City this morning.

Why doesn’t he comment on the thousands of blacks killed by blacks every year.

Welp, that tweet cements it. Best NBA player of all time.

LeBron has said “blackness” is America’s best export...while later saying that “blackness” has been misappropriated.
He really is an idiot.
He really is an idiot.

I think there's a difference between saying racism still exists and saying BLACK PEOPLE ARE BEING HUNTED

I agree. Lebron is incredibly hyperbolic and hard to take him seriously because of it.
I’m speaking on the general sentiment when these type of events happen and the outrage against the people who use it to start a conversation about the social issue

Welcome to America in 2020. An awful thing happened, an even more awful thing has happened after in them not even being arrested, and people will use it and twist it to push their own shite

More White people get killed by the police than Black people. But I can't name a single White person who was killed by the police.
I'm sure White people have been killed in similar circumstances to this as well. But we never hear about them.
The point is, there isn't any evidence this was racial.
