My God, NBC's coverage is unwatchable. When there isn't a commercial break every 5 minutes, there is a commercial or interview interrupting what little race coverage we're lucky to get.

Phil needs to disappear for good.

I need to find the international feed somewhere.
This coverage makes me sad.

Meanwhile the usual top suspects blowing up the peloton on Day 1 is definitely not surprising

Is Tiz Cycling still a thing?

I usually wait until the TNT Sports/Eurosport broadcasts are available to download.

Ben O Connor took a very hard fall.

Jesper wears the jersey after day 1

Remco not paying attention per usual. Losing time today has to be demoralizing.

Took Jasper +440 today

Some of these guys that missed the front group need to reevaluate, was fighting all day with crosswind and then get caught with your pants down in the most pivotal moments

Pretty sharp ending for tomorrow’s stage. Maybe some that lost time today make a go or vin and pog stick the knife a little deeper into the guys that lost time already.

Hitting the ground running with hard stages. Really should be one of the better Tours we've had in a while.

Biggest surprise is Quickstep and Remco being caught out in the crosswinds.

Tiz

I paid the 14 bucks to go commercial free on Peacock. They're still flogging Liggett but the vid is HD.

Alpecin was a machine today giving Jasper the armchair ride. At one point, maybe there was less than 10km left, MVDP was pulling so hard that nobody else could keep up and he got a nice gap by accident.

If ever there was a MVDP stage, this was probably it. He delivered fighting off Pog. Nice win and the shampoo crew is having a great start to this tour.

Spicy already. The GC boys are already rising to the top.

I am always amazed at how much power Pog can put down in the saddle when he is matching uphill accelerations. He is so nonchalant about it. Even when others are in the saddle and the grade tips up, their upper body is so busy as well as their bike. Whereas Pog is so efficient, and his bike rarely moves off a vertical plane. When he is on, you need to be able to switch from a Jonas body to an MVDP body at will to beat him except for the rare stage like today that is tailor-made for one of the others. I would hate to live within 50' of his stored B samples, as more and more I think they might even be radioactive.

Even if he's doping, he is a generational athlete.

I still can't believe he won Fleche by climbing the Mur almost completely in the saddle. Unless a crash takes something out of him, this Tour looks like another stage race he'll win and still have a lot left in the tank.

Exactly. If tadej is on the gas so is everyone else. He’s a once in 50 year rider.

I did this in the monuments and the coverage has been great.
