Visma has this set up well with Jorgensen in front to gut himself if Jonas can get a gap

Unfortunately they are doing the easy side of Loze this year

Finishing up a 10% gradient in the saddle and Pogi looks like a Terminator

Big win for Ben. Visma gave it a proper go but Pog is rock solid

This tour has been pretty boring.
No Philipsen, No Cavendish. Girmay has been non existent this year compared to last year.
Just a bunch of crashes this year and one rider that is just absolutely untouchable.
Glad to see Roglic competing towards the top, but he still has zero chance at challenging the top 2. At this point in the tour one of the most exciting parts is to see who’s going to finish 3rd in the GC.
Remco doesn’t have it to be a GC contender long term. Sorry not sorry.

Pogacar is just on a level that no one else can come close to. I realize we’re witnessing greatness but it’s honestly boring to watch. Vingegaard is the only rider that can come within the same zip code of Pogacar and that’s about as close as he can come to Pogacar at this point in their careers.

I feel like it’s going to be 5+ years of this Pogacar era of 100% pure dominance. *Enter a mountain stage, build a big lead, coast through the rest of the tour without anyone even being capable of challenging him.*

Watching Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian of all time was way more exciting to watch than this. I know that’s not an apples to apples comparison. I guess what I am getting at is Pogacar is so dominant and far more superior than all of his competition. It is not even close.

Stage turned into a dud. Boring and predictable last climb.

At least the last three stages he's leaving late enough to let someone else win the stage. I wonder if he's getting wiser (not taking unnecessary risks) or if he's not feeling THAT great.

As a collective, this bunch is shot. Saw some data on Onley just pushed 5.5 w/k in the last 14 minutes today and only got shelled in the last 600m. I think Pog is weakening some but the rest are worse. Nice ride from Ben and I’m really impressed with Onley. He’s hanging tough and has a bright future. This minor team he’s racing for can’t possibly keep him much longer. Not sure what his contract situation might be, but he’s on the radar now.

Doubt it. I think he is just more concerned with winning the Tour and maybe saving for an all out attack on stage 21. Would be the first yellow jersey to win on the champs since Hinault in 81

yep that was anticlimactic. Pog says he wants to win tomorrow so maybe some more action.

Unless the illness took something out of him I agree that sandbagging has been in effect.

GAY. Tomorrow was supposed to have another 4500m of climbing. It doesn't change the GC (nor does anything else at this point) but I'm not stoked about wiping out a cat 1 climb and 40km of racing

Sounds like the logistics around culling the heard would make it difficult to have a bunch of people/cars around the farms during this process

Hincapie suspects the same. Made the prediction on The Move podcast Tuesday or Wednesday. Would be interesting.
