Peak rat behavior from Pogacar. Sat on Jonas the whole climb then put 4 seconds into him in the last 100m, plus the time bonus.

Something is wrong with him imo. He had a tough crash back in November and I don’t think he’s fully over it. Also if he never wins a tour it’s because he’s competing in an era with the GOAT and a one of the greatest tour GC riders ever in Vinny.

Jonas unabashedly rode Pogi and Remco’s wheels in an earlier stage and they called him out. This was likely payback by Pogi.

Not withstanding all we already know combined with what we also probably know, would love to see an AI sim reality of Lance in his prime on a current horse w current nutrition and equipment and training vs Pog right now on the Ventoux stage in a few days. Bring US Postal and UAE Teams to support them as well.

Remco full cracks tomorrow. I’m calling it.

I thought that was a tiny bit bold, but damn if it wasn't a big understatement.

Jonas is riding well but it doesn't even matter.

Skjelmose's crash was nasty the shot of him flipping over the top of the signpost made me hurt.

I think my favorite light moment of the Tour so far was Alaphilippe stealing the sign from the fan. It has been a while since people were handing out newspapers just after the crest of a climb. Ole skool makes me grin. I wonder if WvA missed the encouragement of her sign?

Good on Arensman. I thought Jonas would go right after the 5km banner because that is where it tipped up, if he had Arensman might not have been so lucky. When Tadej went over to congratulate him, Arensman was in a puddle on the tarmac (some of it was joy I am sure). Tadej looked like he just finished a recovery ride.

100% draft rat but 100% warranted IMO. All he has to do is mark Vingegaard the rest of the race. I guarantee it was soul sucking when Jonas would flick and Tadej would just sit on because Jonas knew he hadn't red-lined him. Pog was just sucking wheel just to hit him at the end. Shame because we aren't really seeing what is is capable of, which is by design. Tadej probably never heard Lance's admonition to avoid looking too suspect but I am sure plenty of people have told him he has to avoid complete nuclear annihilation as it just cranks up the whispers. Hautacam was an exception but based in revenge.

I think after some of those stages last year we can say he dgaf. Either he's clean or he's very confident in the product.

Tadej can still get tired even if he's up to the gills with the special sauce. It's been a tough Tour so far with some hot days and today followed two maximum efforts.

If he stays conservative on the three upcoming HC finishes then he's definitely sandbagging but if not then he was just tired today. I expect him to destroy everybody on Ventoux like he did on the Mur de Huy after Amstel made it look like the Roubaix effort took something out of him.

Vindegaard would often just sit on Pogacars wheel and not pull, he's no place to moan about him not rotating.

Plz explain why he should take a single turn. “Rat” kept Jonas from losing 20 minutes a little while ago while his team did their best sd worx impression

I have no issue with Pogi doing exactly what he did, I was just poking fun. If anything, I think cycling has too many gentleman's agreements. Flicking your elbow and expecting your biggest rival, the leader of the race, to take a pull is silly.
