Buddy of mine sent me a screenshot from a guy named Andrew Clay who said he voluntarily resigned this morning. I'm assuming he got a college offer or something similar. 4 state titles in a row was a great run!

Does Trev Faulk not have a college degree? Why do they still pretend he's not the coach?

He's saying they fired him. They're saying he resigned.

LCA needs to get what's coming to them.

They're very, very obviously cheating when it comes to recruiting, practice times, pretty much anyway they could be cheating. Their high school curriculum is a joke. They actually lost their accreditation for a couple of years. You're a freshman at LCA? OK, today in World Geography, we're going to paint the lines on the football field.

The pastor that runs the school is the stereotypical slimeball pastor bro.

Reminds me of sunrise Christian here in Wichita. Doesn’t really offer much but they have a ridiculously good basketball team. I’m pretty sure kshsaa told them they had to split their elite guys separate from the rest of the league because of how out of hand it was getting. Then they doubled down and no only do travel ball.

Is Andrew Clay that hipster “sports” analyst for KATC?

That dude has never thrown a baseball in his life

Because Trev Faulk is officially not the Head Coach at LCA, he’s on the coaching staff. Faulk was previously “recognized” as the HC @ LCA in 2018-2019. He was suspended by the LHSAA in 2019 because he was only a part-time employee, and the school listed him as a teacher and director of football operations. According to LHSAA, HC’s have to be full time employees. Once Faulk was suspended, Jacarde Carter took over as HC from 2019-2020.

Faulk has the education credentials to coach since he was previously the HC at Northside and Vermilion Catholic. There are conflicting reports whether Carter was terminated or he resigned. I’ll update once the actual truth is confirmed

Does he have a side business? I just don't get why he wouldn't just "coach PE" full time if being the coach is what he wants to do in life. He was their HC back to at least 2017, Idk if they only recognized it later.

I have zero clue about Faulk’s business or professional life outside of LCA. It appears he was recognized by the school as their HC dating back to 2017 (or earlier) but he was never a full time employee. Obviously the administration at LCA knew this and tried to skirt around the rules. Here’s a rabbit hole if you want to read more about this topic
