Lance returns to Indiana in the most Lance way possible. Almost starts a brawl

Indiana's 108-90 home victory over Toronto on Tuesday night was marred by a heated confrontation between the Pacers' Lance Stephenson and the Raptors' DeMar DeRozan with 3.3 seconds remaining in the contest. The shoving match broke out when tempers flared between Stephenson and DeRozan after the Raptors guard took issue with Stephenson's layup at the end of the Pacers' runaway win over their Eastern Conference rivals. Stephenson was faced down by DeRozan and several other Raptors players after he put up the layup just before time expired -- instead of holding on to the ball and walking off the floor -- which seemed to break one of basketball's cardinal rules. The skirmish then spilled down the sideline and into the Pacers' bench, where Toronto's PJ Tucker was still jawing with Pacers players as coaches tried to separate the players. DeRozan told reporters after the tilt that the play was "disrespectful to the game." Tucker called the play "classless'' and "tasteless.''

Stephenson apologized. "I didn't mean no harm,'' he said. "The crowd was chanting me on, and I just wanted to do it for the fans.''

Pro athletes getting their asses hurt over running up the score is so hilarious. You get paid to do your job, do it better if you don't like it.

It's not Lance's job to stop himself from scoring, that's on Toronto.

Not to mention, people have already found examples of the Raptors doing the same thing.

I'm gonna guess this was about more than that layup and that layup gave them a reason.

And he balled out HARD last night. Played great. Zero freaks given by any Pacer on that roster.

Maybe DeRozan should be offended that his teammates couldn't produce half of the 27 points he put up instead.

I love when pro athletes get upset when the opponent runs up the score.

Raptors are butthurt as frick. I mean you're fine with it being 105-90 but heaven forbid he scores at the end to make it 107-90 and they lose their shite.

if the raptors actually have a problem with lance doing that, then actually doing something about it. not whine and a weak arse shove. Go down there and put Lance on his arse if its a big ole issue mr. tough guys. now you just got turnt into a crying arse meme.

How about that turnover at the end by Toronto throwing the ball to no1atall on the sidelines there..

I saw this earlier today. Man, the Raptors need to sack-up. Goodness gracious.

Raptor Normal Powell finishing a windmill

I don't see what the big deal is. It was just a layup. I doubt that "running up the score" entered Lance's head at any time. You can tell by his body language.
It's not as if he shot a 3 or did a reverse dunk.
Players are too touchy these days.
