This Lakers roster may have the least depth of any playoff team I've ever seen, especially considering they were the 3 seed. They had no faith in any bench player (including a nominal starter) to give even a couple minutes in the second half.

He went 27/12/8. Didn’t have a great 4Q but fatigue at 40 probably a thing. Most of those other dudes couldn’t even run up and down the court at 40. GOAT.

There was a pretty sizable drop off between OKC and Houston, then Houston and the rest of the west.

The Lakers at 3 were only two games ahead of the Grizzlies at 8, so I think we can clearly say the wins added by getting Luka made the difference between a 3rd seed and the play in.
