This isn't anywhere near as close as the Ewing draft debacle.

I'm not upset with any of the teams making this trade. Not sure what a Lakers/Magic trade would look like though.

for the win, by the way.
Kobe = closer. something the Heat still dont have.

the same rigging that's been going on for the past two decades at least.

Sigh...The one thing that makes me sad about the NBA coming back: People thinking Kobe is some kind of magical assassin when it comes to closing games when statistically there's nothing to back this up.

lol. Don't need a closer when the games won't be close. This Heat rotation is much better than that Lakers rotation.

Nothing like some good old fashioned perception bias

at you thinking kobe = closer is what makes that trio better.

The heat aren't great because they're all WAY too similar.. whereas the lakers have completely different positions filled with great players.

ETA: Also, look it up.. CP3 is better than kobe at last second shots.. So he isn't even the best closer on his own team

No your eyeballs tell you what you want to know. Kobe has missed and lost a lot of late games for the Lakers, but nobody remember them cause they don't want to. Lakers/Heat last year in MIA is proof of that. You don't remember the PR show Kobe put on after that game putting up shots at AAA?

I'm sorry but who else is GOING to take those shots for the lakers? I didnt say he was infallible.

Chris Paul is now the best closer on the Lakers.
